Two cursed young girls: Part One (Nina Alexandria Hopkins) [Chapter Seven: Creatures creeping]

Warning: This work has been rated 16+ for violence and mature content.

*This is chapter seven of my Creepypasta fanfic “Two cursed young girls”. This is under my folder titled “Creepypasta stuff”. Nina was created by Alegotic-twevel. Claudia, Zayn, and Malcolm were also created by Alegotic-twevel, except Zayn had a different name in the original story and I changed it to Zayn in this one. Alyssa is my OC. This chapter is a tad violent and has one swear word in it. Oh yes and Jeff the killer is a Creepypasta created by GameFuelTV and Laughing Jack is a Creepypasta created by Snuffbomb. Gacha Club character designs are under my forum titled “My character designs<33[2]”. Enjoy!*

From that day on, Alyssa had been following Nina around, going off on a ramble about Creepypastas as if Nina were her best, lifelong friend. Nina didn’t mind at all. In fact, it was a relief to hear that someone else loved Creepypasta as much as her, even if the way Alyssa expressly talked about Laughing Jack was a tad unnerving.

The girl who had made fun of her hoodie was called Claudia and her friends were Zayn and Malcolm. That was what Alyssa told Nina, anyway.

Strangely enough, the day after Nina had become friends with Alyssa, Claudia didn’t bother her anymore. She didn’t even approach her or look at her until one Monday afternoon, during gym class outside, when Nina needed to catch her breath on a bench after running laps around the track field. Nina felt that her lungs were going to break inside of her, so she opened up her pink glitter water bottle decorated with Jeff the Killer stickers and drank from it, hoping to gain enough energy to run again.

Her eyes narrowed when she saw a girl with long, straight black hair in a pony tail and brown eyes wearing a pink leopard print long-sleeved shirt and jeans walk towards her, her outfit different from before, but her face was still the same.

“Are you going to call my hoodie a Grandma’s hoodie again?” Nina asked bitterly, hoping that Claudia would just get it over with the cringe insults and leave her alone.

A look of guilt flashed over Claudia’s face before she joined Nina at the bench and said:

“No, I’m not. I wasn’t even trying to make fun of you, to be honest. I’m sorry if it came out that way. I was just trying to be funny but I understand how it can come off as rude. I was told that I have to work on how I talk to people anyway, so again, I’m really sorry.”

Nina raised an eyebrow. Claudia had come off as a cliche bratty bully from early 2000s movies before, with how she got all mad at Alyssa for throwing a pie at her and again, calling Nina’s hoodie her “Grandma’s hoodie”.

Did Claudia incredibly irritate her that one time? Absolutely. But what Claudia said was nothing compared to what people on the internet had called her and so, Nina was willing to hear Claudia out.

“Alright, so here’s why I came over: I noticed that you’re hanging out with Alyssa more. Are you guys like, friends or something?” Claudia asked, her face lined with concern.

Concern? What for?

“Yeah, kind of. Why do you care?”

Claudia shifted uncomfortably on the seat, as if debating whether or not to say something. While Nina was ready to listen, she was also wary on if Claudia was luring her into a trap, as if Nina would have to be prepared to make a snap decision in order to get herself out of trouble.

“Well, I used to be friends with Alyssa back in elementary school. I know it’s not a long time, but I’ve been attending the same schools as her for years, so I’ve seen how she is. I-“

“What do you mean “how she is”?” Nina snapped, for if it was going to turn into a not-so-subtle jab at Alyssa, she was ready to defend the girl, as there was no way that Nina would let somebody else get picked on, even if they were not around to hear it.

“Nothing bad! It’s just that she actually believes in Creepypastas. She thinks that they’re out there and all we need to do is give them our blood in order to make them come. One time, I came over to her house back in like, third grade, and she…she…”

Claudia choked a bit on the words, then scooted closer to Nina on the bench and whispered:

“She sliced my wrist. She could have gone deeper but I pried my hand away. She started talking about some shit like, how she needs the blood to summon Laughing Jack and all the other Creepypastas. It was the last time I came over to her house, the last time I ever talked to her. She hasn’t really changed from third grade. Or maybe she has and I don’t know. But just, like, be careful.”

Claudia then showed Nina her left wrist, which very much had a faint line, as though it were stitched across her skin, before getting up, as if she were eager to run away, leaving Nina with her swirling thoughts.

Was Claudia’s story even true? If it were true, then wouldn’t Alyssa be arrested already? Couldn’t the scar have been caused by anything? Unless, of course, the police didn’t actually care enough. But wouldn’t they? Shouldn’t they?

And it wasn’t like Nina didn’t believe in Creepypastas either. She thought that they were real, to some degree. But like…Alyssa at nine years old…slicing Claudia’s wrist…was Claudia even really friends with Alyssa? She had acted pretty childish a few weeks ago when Alyssa threw a lemon meringue pie at her…and Alyssa being…violent? Sure, she didn’t know anything about personal space and always wore long lace dresses as if she were a Victorian child, but she couldn’t possibly hurt people…right? Right?

The teacher blew his whistle and shouted at kids to go inside. Nina would get a bad grade for not running the full laps, but she didn’t care about that at the moment.

She needed to have a serious talk with Alyssa later.

Hello Again, My Friend!

Hiya, Creeper! Coming back to continue the Nina arc today! Hoping I'll be able to catch all the way up today, so brace for a few reviews ^^

Oh WOW, so not only are we seeing some surprising development in Claudia's character, but now we're getting some juicy lore about Alyssa! The story was shocking, but was it true? After all, Claudia came off as genuine here, but her reputation doesn't make her seem like the most reliable source, especially when it comes to talking truthfully about these girls...But I don't know, and clearly Nina doesn't either...Man, things are heating up here @_@

No recommendations for change, so let's dive into highlights!

Nina didn’t mind at all. In fact, it was a relief to hear that someone else loved Creepypasta as much as her, even if the way Alyssa expressly talked about Laughing Jack was a tad unnerving.

It is cute to see how they're getting along so well, despite a rocky start! I would say the obsessive sort of behavior doesn't seem to bode well for proving Claudia's story wrong, but then again, Nina isn't far off. I guess it just goes to show—there are two different forms of obsession lol

“No, I’m not. I wasn’t even trying to make fun of you, to be honest. I’m sorry if it came out that way. I was just trying to be funny but I understand how it can come off as rude. I was told that I have to work on how I talk to people anyway, so again, I’m really sorry.”

This really caught me by surprise! It's nice to see though, provided she is being genuine here. I mean, nobody is purely a bully all the time, right? I wonder if Nina will continue to believe her, and to what ends...

“What do you mean “how she is”?” Nina snapped, for if it was going to turn into a not-so-subtle jab at Alyssa, she was ready to defend the girl, as there was no way that Nina would let somebody else get picked on, even if they were not around to hear it.

Ooo, I like this energy from Nina! Sounds like, if nothing else, Alyssa is finally giving her the confidence to stand up a little. That's nice ^^

She sliced my wrist. She could have gone deeper but I pried my hand away. She started talking about some shit like, how she needs the blood to summon Laughing Jack and all the other Creepypastas.

WOAH! Was not expecting that! O.O

Ooo, sounds like this is really causing some confusion for poor Nina, who was having a hard enough time already...

Overall, this was a shocking twist in the building story already! I wonder what Alyssa will have to say...Nicely done! :D

Thus concludes my review. To leave off, here are some inspiring quotes, courtesy of your resident Poe freak ~

"They who dream by day are cognizant of many things which escape those who dream only by night."
"Words have no power to impress the mind without the exquisite horror of their reality.”
"I would define, in brief, the poetry of words as the rhythmical creation of Beauty."

Okay, back to Alyssa and Nina!
Glad Nina came around on her opinion of Alyssa (even if I kinda also fear for her).

Ohh I find it interesting that Claudia actually wasn’t trying to be a bully. Guess they just met on the wrong foot (or how the saying goes?)
Hm it’s nice of her to try and warn Nina… but that will go completely underappreciated xd
And oh boy, does Claudia have a story. Poor girl!

I really like this story, it feels like it heightens the tension and now I’m curious what way Nina will swing, sticking with Alyssa or not. I believe in the former and then they will summon Jeff and that is why he’s in her room in that other story. Let’s see if I can find out the truth xd

Maybe I should say something quote-worthy, like, I dunno... "You can only be happy if you decide to be happy?"
