*This fanfic is underneath my folder titled “Creepypasta stuff”. Gacha Club character designs are under this forum: https://www.youngwriterssociety.com/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=116005&start=1155. This is a Ben Drowned (created by Jadusable) x Lost Silver (unknown creator) fanfic. This takes place before they become the Creepypasta characters. In my AU, they are fifteen years old. This is in 2005. Kyle is the human name I came up with for Lost Silver. Now, the angst is coming soon…but for now…enjoy and Happy Valoween!*
Ben always had something to talk about. Whether it was something important or something incredibly useless, he always astonished himself when he found that he had something to say.
But at the end of the log slog of the day, when Ben was telling him everything that had happened from the morning to the afternoon, every detail about his day, he found that his heart was racing with every thought that sparked in his head at the suggestion that his words didn’t make sense, that he couldn’t understand him and was simply pretending to listen-or even worse, that he had grown annoyed with Ben and secretly wanted him to leave, that-
No. He, Kyle, the boy he had met on summer and who he hadn’t forgotten about, merely couldn’t keep eye contact with people. Ben noticed it whenever a teacher was speaking with Kyle, whenever a kid was trying to get his attention. Kyle would look for a few seconds, then his eyes would wander off somewhere else. At first, he would reach for his silver gameboy that he always brought with him to school, but once enough teachers kept snatching it away from him, declaring some nonsense about how it was “destroying his brain” and enough kids gave an attitude with him not looking at them, he stopped reaching for it and instead looked down at his shoes.
At the very moment, Kyle was playing video games on his gameboy. He didn’t tell Ben to go away. His shoulders were relaxed, he didn’t seem all shriveled up within himself. Ben noticed that Kyle seemed to shrink within himself whenever people were talking to him (or more accurately, giving him such a sour attitude about the most minor things), but when he was with Ben, he appeared comfortable enough to take out his gameboy, to loosen up his posture, to just…be.
Ben wouldn’t take that for granted. He’d keep talking to Kyle because talking to him felt just right, like it was meant to be, like the summer day he bought that Majora’s Mask video game that came out five years ago, when the June sun was glowing warmly on the neatly scattered homes lying amongst the sidewalks, when he caught sight of Kyle’s glimmering blue eyes and his pale face that was sprinkled with red pimples that were like tiny rose petals settling in his skin, needing only to bloom. Talking to him was just the thing that he needed to do to end the day, to-
“Benjamin Lawmen and Kyle Brown, have you two even started on your vases yet? Or have you spent the last hours talking to one another?” Mr. Jones asked, his voice tinged with frustration.
Ben stiffened, wanting to say a plethora of curse words but not wanting to risk being sent to the Principal’s office. Kyle looked up in shock, his blue eyes widening with bursts of fear. He lowered his gameboy as though he were embarrassed and his lips parted in an expression of surprise.
Why did Mr. Jones ruin Kyle’s peace? Why couldn’t he just leave the both of them alone? They were both in art class, the both of them had to make a 19th century vase, but art stopped being fun after elementary school. How would making the vase help either of them in life? Why couldn’t they just sit with one another and enjoy each other’s company, wasn’t that what adults wanted kids to do?
“We’re getting to it, Mr. Jones!” Ben called out as he turned around to face the teacher.
Mr. Jones grunted as though he didn’t believe Ben and walked off. Whatever. It wasn’t Ben’s problem that adults had their own judgements about the younger generation just because they were different.
Ben laid his arms on Kyle’s desk and rested his head on his arms, looking up at Kyle from partly-closing eyes. The whole day was starting to become quite tiresome, but he hoped that Kyle would want to do the project with him, that he’d feel comfortable doing the project with him.
“Do you want to work together? On the whole vase thing?” Ben asked, hoping that he hadn’t overstayed his welcome with Kyle.
“Sure thing.” Kyle said with a-a smile?! He was smiling? Because of Ben?! Because of working with Ben on the art project?
Ben held down his own excitement, not wanting to sound weird about seeing Kyle smile for the first time.
The two of them were going to work together, Kyle’s grin brought out the blue of his eyes more, it made his pimples blossom into his skin like the paintings Ben used to make in art class when he was little, the paintings that he made and loved so dearly.
Art class wasn’t boring with Kyle in it.

I think I'll like Ben because he sounds exactly like me LMAO!
"But at the end of the log slog of the day, when Ben was telling him everything that had happened from the morning to the afternoon, every detail about his day, he found that his heart was racing with every thought that sparked in his head at the suggestion that his words didn’t make sense, that he couldn’t understand him and was simply pretending to listen-or even worse, that he had grown annoyed with Ben and secretly wanted him to leave, that-"
awwww i hate this feeling. but i am starting to wonder who's point of view i'm reading this from because I don't know if it's Ben's or Kyle's. Maybe try and elaborate on this further??? Then again, I might see if I continue reading >.>

Okay, I'm like 80% sure this is from Ben's point of view! I really like how quiet this got! Like I feel like i see a bit of a sweet spot when Ben is talking about Kyle. Romance, maybe?
"“Sure thing.” Kyle said with a-a smile?! He was smiling? Because of Ben?! Because of working with Ben on the art project?"
It seems like Ben may have a crush on Kyle?? Oooooh I'm excited to see where this goes!!! I do love me some romance if you can't tell by my username!!!

okay yes I LOVE THIS!! The feeling of a crush makes your whole day!! Even just something as simple as being in a class with them just makes everything so much better. I really love how you make it so realistic with these crushing feelings. Like, most people just rush into relationships when writing but this one feels so human-- so realistic. Amazing job creeper!!! You never fail to impress me!!!
Have a good day/night!!!!!
Love,
Hop

Grayhound here for my form of Controlled chaos review. I write these in Time as I'm reading them. Or using text. To voice. And reading along with it.
Despera displaying vulnerability in front of someone. My heart goes. AAAAAAAAThe perspective change is. * Chef's kiss.* The way he is describing the little things. about kyle Rambling. Having a hard time to make eye contact.
Are you portrying Kyle? Has a form of autism. The no eye contact thing is a very common thing. I know I personally have a hard time making eye contact sometimes, or I have to point my good ear at the person so I can hear them. Off topic. Squirrel.
Finding beauty in unlikely places.
This particular line makes me Think. But the mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell. I know that instead of how the taxes work. Or how to diversify My Portfolio and Stock Exchange making money work for me? So freaking relatable,
the line that Follows. This one makes me think of. When I was in high school and I just wanted to hang out with my friends, but no, you got all these stupid projects. They're not going to have any. Real impact on your future life. Looking back on it, it's still true. Most of the classes I took in high school, I have never used that knowledge again. Again, squirrel.
This gots me in my fields and thinking of something, don't know how to describe it but it got me thinking. Relatable. All so relatable.
Is there? Is this their first PDA? HEY
All in all. It gives me the warm fertility feeling inside with the cute puppy love. This couple overcoming little obstacles. And just want to be comfortable with each other. For lack of better words, it's all so cute.
Yes, Kyle has autism. So does Ben but it%u2019s different for him. And during lunch periods they usually watch an anime show or play games on a tablet together, so they have been affectionate with each other before, but not a lot. This is much longer for them both.
I%u2019m glad you enjoyed this!!
They don%u2019t know they have autism bc they never got diagnosed. Their parents didn%u2019t think of doing that for them.
Definitely going to drop her a few ones tomorrow
yay
