Jason talks to LJ about the possibility of…A CHILD?!

*This fanfic is underneath my folder titled “Creepypasta stuff”. Gacha Club character designs are under my forum titled “My character designs<33”. Jason was created by Krisantyl and Laughing Jack was created by Snuffbomb. This ship is not canon, I just like shipping it for funsies. ^v^. Enjoy!*

All of the families on the streets with their children puzzled Jason Meyer, who watched out of the steps of his toy shop.

Why did they love their children so? Weren’t children only good when they worked? That was what Jason’s parents told him. He always had to study and never really had time to play. Children weren’t really that pleasant, anyway. He didn’t want a child of his own…

Or did he? Would having a kid be so bad if it was a doll and made from his magic? What would Laughing Jack say? Would they both even love the child?

Jason got off the steps and turned around towards his toy shop, a new thought brewing in his mind.

………………………………………………………………….

Jason closed the door gently behind him. Laughing Jack hung up from the puppet strings on the ceiling, reaching his long, eldritch black claws out. He grinned, showing off his row of white, jagged teeth, his eyes wild and crazy.

“What is it, Jason? What is it that you want?” Laughing Jack asked as he swung back and forth.

Laughing Jack could always sense when Jason wanted to say something important, it was as though he had a gift in delving deep into emotions. It was what made him good at connecting with his victims to really shatter their minds.

Laughing Jack’s pointed grin spread wider, giving about a charming air with him. If only his smile wouldn’t diminish from Jason’s words.

“I was thinking…what if I built a child modeled after us? What-“

“Come again. Did you say…child?! As in, we must raise this child…like parents?” Laughing Jack asked, his voice growing a hint of disbelief. His smile slightly twitched, and his wide eyes weren’t the elated insanity Jason had come to adore, but the petrified shock that appeared when something changed so suddenly.

He untangled himself from the puppet strings and jumped onto the ground, the shelves of dolls shaking as he landed on both feet. Jason may have been 6’3, but Laughing Jack was an entire 7’4, and sometimes his movements often caused a disturbance to the shop.

But that only happened when Laughing Jack was displeased. The full force of his power was only ever felt in those moments.

“Your insanity is what makes you brilliant. Your insanity is what brings vibrance to your eyes and your evil. But Jason…don’t you think that your insanity may have taken a wrong turn? However will we raise a child? We’re murderers, not parents. We don’t raise children, we kill children. Whatever has gotten into you? Are you unwell? Do you need my magic to help you?” Laughing Jack asked, placing a claw on Jason’s cheek.

Jason smiled his own sharp-toothed grin. Laughing Jack need not worry, he knew what he was doing.

“Your offer to use your magic for me is endearing, but I assure you, I’m in top condition. Think about it, Jack: Imagine raising a child in our toy shop. We could have an extra hand at helping us murder. Our little proxy! We’re fantastic with just the two of us, but we’d be even better with a kid, because then said child could lure more children to us. Children trust other children, do they not?” Jason asked.

A flicker went in Laughing Jack’s eyes, as though he were beginning to understand Jason’s words.

But Jason wasn’t done yet.

“Don’t you want to understand why humans love their children so much? It’s quite bewildering, isn’t it? Well then, we’d figure that out! And if you come to hate the child with a boiling passion, we’ll kill it. But don’t you think it should be worth a try? A good murderer always gains new experience to get better at murdering!” Jason cried out.

The expression on Laughing Jack’s face softened a bit. Only a bit, but it still mattered.

“Alright then. I trust that you have good ideas. But we’re killing the child if it becomes an absolute nuisance, understand?” Laughing Jack asked.

Jason nodded and hooked his arm around Laughing Jack’s.

“I understand. Now, we must be off to discuss how to build this child!” Jason declared.

With that, he led Laughing Jack to the workshop room.

Hey! I found this work in the green room and I thought that such a great story deserves a review.

This fun and moody story gives a new take on the idea of family and creation, all set in a quirky toy shop. The tale mixes horror and fantasy in a way that's as interesting as finding bananas in a pile of apples. Jason Meyer, with his odd upbringing, questions what it means to be a kid, and his unusual solution is both unsettling and pretty cool. The character of Laughing Jack adds a fun touch of chaos, balancing out Jason’s ideas perfectly. This story is a wild ride of feelings and thoughts, leaving you thinking about the depth of human emotions and how far someone might go to understand them. It's a pretty cool read that keeps you guessing about what might happen next.

Did you write any more similar such stories? I'd love to read them!

Hello Again, My Friend!

Hi Vamp!! Raven back to continue reviewing this saga.

Omg, this is exactly how I would imagine two Creepypasta cryptids—especially ones like Jason and Jack—going about the idea of raising a child! XD I love seeing the layers to Jason's approach here, how one moment he won't even entertain the thought due to his own childhood, then he's curious due to his observations of humans, then just flat-out says "I mean if it annoys us we can just kill it." And THAT being the convincing point for Laughing Jack, haha! Oh man, these two never cease to entertain.

As far as a technical review, I have no recommendations to give! No typos or the like, and I enjoyed the story. I do think this topic in specific would have been interesting to see more drawn-out, but I notice plenty of stories in this arc I've yet to read so I'm like, "hey I'll should at least catch up first lol."

As for favorite parts and such, hmmm...I would go with:

Jason closed the door gently behind him. Laughing Jack hung up from the puppet strings on the ceiling, reaching his long, eldritch black claws out. He grinned, showing off his row of white, jagged teeth, his eyes wild and crazy.

I absolutely adored the visual of Laughing Jack literally just hanging out on puppet strings XD

His smile slightly twitched, and his wide eyes weren’t the elated insanity Jason had come to adore, but the petrified shock that appeared when something changed so suddenly.

Another great line, the "elated insanity" bit got me chuckling lol. Okay, but moving past just what made me giggle...

Your offer to use your magic for me is endearing, but I assure you, I’m in top condition. Think about it, Jack: Imagine raising a child in our toy shop. We could have an extra hand at helping us murder. Our little proxy! We’re fantastic with just the two of us, but we’d be even better with a kid, because then said child could lure more children to us. Children trust other children, do they not?

Ooo, this whole description...I mean it fits Jason's character to a T, but man is it morbid (as a compliment, not a critique lol). You really nailed how two Creepypasta classics would go about this topic. And the fact that Jason called the potential child "our little proxy," ahh, cute! lol

Overall, that was awesome to read, and what a perfect way to follow up reading about Jason's past! Nicely done! :D

Thus concludes my review. To leave off, here are some inspiring quotes, courtesy of your resident Poe freak ~

"They who dream by day are cognizant of many things which escape those who dream only by night."
"Words have no power to impress the mind without the exquisite horror of their reality.”
"I would define, in brief, the poetry of words as the rhythmical creation of Beauty."
