16+ Violence

In Creepypasta stuff

Warning: This work has been rated 16+ for violence.

*This fanfic is underneath my folder titled “Creepypasta stuff”. Gacha Club character designs are under this forum: https://www.youngwriterssociety.com/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=117842&start=30. The main character of this fanfic, Janice, is my OC and the fanchild of Laughing Jack (demonic clown) and Jeff the Killer (knife-wielding supernatural serial killer). Her parents are Creepypasta characters (Creepypasta is internet horror). You may google them if you like. Endora is also my OC. Enjoy!*

There’s no way she’ll be able to run away. Not when I can hear my Knife-Dad grazing his…well, his knife…against my wall and a worn-out version of “Pop goes the weasel” playing, the anthem of my Clown-Dad.

“Go in my toy chest. They won’t see you there.”

Endora looks over at my pink toy chest, then back at me.

“What if I don’t fit?”

“It’s big, just go in!”

I push her over to the chest to speed her up, then quickly close it before-

“Who’s in there?”

I whip my head around to face my Knife-Dad. He doesn’t really have pupils in his eyes, but I can tell that he’s glaring at me.

“What do you mean?”

“The box, Janice. We can smell the human in there.”

I see that my Clown-Dad is already creeping behind the chest, his black claws inching to the lid where she hides.

“Now, Janice…why on Earth did you bring a human here? Don’t you understand that humans are always going to want something from you? Don’t you understand that they deserve to die?”

He’s smiling that smile when he’s holding in a whole tidal wave of anger, anger that’s burning so hot that it simmers into sheer insanity and when he’s like that, he’s in the mood for killing. Not that both of my parents don’t always want to kill, but when either of them have expressions like that, then they are feeling exceptionally murderous.

My Knife-Dad, on the other hand, is crouching in the corner of my room, his long, black hair flowing in choppy, disjointed waves around his pale, bruised face and bloody-carved grin like he’s Kuchisake Onna waiting to carve a smile on someone’s face. Interesting little fact about my Knife-Dad is that his favorite urban legend growing up was the one about the slit-mouth woman and that he’s actually inspired by her. It’s been one of his life long dreams to meet her, which is why he’s trying to find the time to take us to Japan, so that we can meet Kuchisake Onna and all of the other ghosts that reside there.

Yes, my parents are terrifying, yada yada yada, but they haven’t opened the box yet. If Endora is lucky, she’ll get out of here alive. If not, then I guess I’ll just be alone. Maybe she stopped breathing already.

There’s no use hiding it.

“Well yes, there is a human in there, but she hasn’t done anything! She’s fine! I just wanted to show her my house and my dolls! I wasn’t even going to tell her about you guys!” I cry out.

I know that I sound like the human victims that beg us not to kill them and I don’t like it.

I don’t think my fathers like it either.

“That doesn’t matter, Janice. If she’s in that box, then she already knows about us. She’ll already know what we look like when your Dad opens it. Might as well just kill her now. Get it over with quick.” My Knife-Dad says, glancing at his bloodstained knife before looking back at me.

I grab my Clown-Dad’s claw before he can open it.

“Before you open it, just…just don’t kill her. Please?”

“Why? Why do you want to spare her life?”

“Uhm…because…because I want to know her more. Because I showed her my face and she wasn’t scared. She just said I looked fine. She was a little annoying but not that bad. Maybe…maybe we can be friends.”

I let go of my Clown-Dad’s claw. He’s staring at me, not saying anything. I think I said enough. I hope it was enough.

“And if she turns out to hurt you?”

“Then I’ll deal with her myself. Not you guys.”

He stands up, walking away from the box.

“Fine. Let her live, if you really think that she could be your friend. But if things go bad, then-“

“Yeah yeah, I know!”

I look back at my parents before I go over to open the box. They both don’t look exactly happy but they don’t seem super upset either. And they’re not going to kill her! That’s something, at least.

Now I’ve got to let her out.

Forgot to mention it last chapter but this was an excellent stopping point!

Oh myyyy ahhh just imagine poor Endora in the box, first hearing the knife against the wall and then the other creepypasta sidling up to the box you’re hiding in and they talk so disparagingly abt your humanness and your new friend just told you that they all kill humans… Poor girl must be so terrified…

“My Knife-Dad, on the other hand, is crouching in the corner of my room, his long, black hair flowing in choppy, disjointed waves around his pale, bruised face and bloody-carved grin like he’s Kuchisake Onna waiting to carve a smile on someone’s face.” I like the descriptions here in separation. I think before “around his pale [face]” it works really well and the adjectives you chose enhanced the sentence. But the sentence afterwards goes on for far too long and the other adjectives just overload it further. Why not say “around his face” and then start a new sentence to put the state of face and his grin into better focus? 😊
I think you meant “little fact” in the following sentence, right? [You know you can edit the stories you already out up, right?]

I also start to think that Endora just ended up so traumatized by this encounter that nothing else will ever faze her. It’s her coping mechanism.
Another good stopping point here btw!
