*This song/poem is about Laughing Jack. He’s a Creepypasta clown who was created by Snuffbomb. This is under my folder titled “Creepypasta stuff”. Gacha Club character designs are under my forum titled “My character designs <33”. Enjoy!*
No one will love you like a monster clown
Humans don’t understand
The monster clown stays forever
He waits in the dark and smiles for you
He gives you candy even if it’s “too much sugar”
He wipes away your tears with claws
He holds you in his arms
You’re always a child, no matter how old you get
He shushes you and promises Candyland if you’re good
When night falls and the rest of the world has forgotten you
He’ll slink from the closet and to your bed
He’ll pull off your heart and sever your head
Off to the carnival you go, you’ve been so good
Wait for Laughing Jack
He’ll come for you

Hi! I'm Kate and I'm here to leave a quick review!!
Anyway let's get right to: Kate's Line by Line Reactions;
Oooh this is quite an interesting little piece. I didn't quite know what to expect to be honest when it comes to the kind of love that a "clown monster" can provide but it seems we've got a very interesting take on love going on here as a result. Its really does lend itself to some thinking there knowing this is something dependable that ultimately if you wait long enough Laughing Jack certainly will end up coming for you one way or the other. It frames something that is normally quite terrifying in an oddly positive light but of course the rest of the verse about what exactly he's going to do to your heart and head proves he is still very much a monster.
I really like the opening this particular verse throwing in these more traditional oh this person is going to take care of you with the sweets and the wiping of tears but making sure to include the more monstrous parts of Laughing Jack so we never lose sight of the monster part of the equation. I think it makes for quite a lovely piece here, showcasing in some twisted way Laughing Jack does care and love children but this love is twisted and horrifying much like he is.
Aaand that's it for this oneee!!!
As always remember to: Take what you think was helpful and forget the rest!
Kate
You got it! Laughing Jack%u2019s vision of love is very much twisted.
I'M JUST GOING TO BE HONEST HERE AND SAY THAT YOU HAVE SAVED ME ONCE AGAIN. I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT I WAS GOING TO REVIEW AND POOF! NEW LYRIC!
so yeah, imma read it-
I don't know anything about Laughing Jack, but I've heard of Eyeless Jack. I was in a tiny creepyasta phase a few years ago.
as scary has this creepypasta character is supposed to be, there's a thin skim of comfort surrounding it, like a bubble. "He wipes away your tears with claws" is comforting to me, along with the idea that you will always be a child to him. To me, its roughly translated to he's there for you no matter what. some people never have that growing up. No one to wipe away their tears. So sometimes, even if it's a scary clown, people could see past that, desperate for the concept of being love to be showed to them, no matter how dangerous it is to obtain it, or how horrifying that person it is. But that comfort quickly disappears at the end of the song. Although, is it no different then beheading a flower? plucking the delicate blossom to hold temporary beautiful? What exactly causes us to pick the flower, even though we know it is much more beautiful where it's at? And what's the difference between what Jack is doing and what we are doing? He wants what he wants and he wants it now. It doesn't matter if it ends soon. so to me, it's like picking a flower knowing it will die.
sorry if this wasn't much of a review, have a good day!
I%u2019m glad you enjoyed!
