*The last of my fanfic “Crybaby and the clown”. This is a crossover fanfic between Melanie Martinez and Creepypasta. This is underneath my folder “Creepypasta stuff”. “Giggles the clown” is an unreleased song by Melanie Martinez, from her unreleased album “Sorrowland”. Laughing Jack is a Creepypasta character created by Snuffbomb. Gacha Club character designs are underneath my forum “My character designs <33”. Enjoy!*
She giggled to LJ, who was standing next to her in the tent and ruffling her hair.
Crybaby was attempting to perform as a clown named Giggles, but she failed miserably.
She didn’t care, though.
What mattered was that she was having fun with her crazy best friend.
“I knew you could do it, kiddo.”
She smiled.
All was right with the world. They were in a circus together, far from the humans.
Just them against the world.

Hey vampricone! I’m slowly trying to work my way back through the works you’ve tagged me in, so please bear with me as I try to find them all!
I don’t have much to say on this chapter seeing as it’s so short but I think it’s a nice way to round off the story. It feels a bit like a time jump forward to show us the characters are happy in the resolution, which I like. It’s satisfying to see it’s worked out in such a way.
I’d like to see more of the show they’re putting on here to see how the characters have evolved, beyond what we’ve got here but that’s more a want than a need.
This was a sweet ending!

Hey vampricone! I'm back to leave a short review for this chapter!

I can't believe this is the last chapter already. I really loved reading this series. It was filled with slightly scary and unsettling parts, sad and meaningful moments, and everything in between. You should really be proud of yourself for being able to take these songs and string them together to make a story. I think you have progressed as a writer through writing this.
This was a short chapter, so there is not much to say here. I think you did a good job of writing the epilougue-y element of it, showing that stuff has changed since the last chapter and leaves the reader on an open end to imagine what might happen next. It effectively keeps the reader on their toes but also is a satisfying end.
I think this chapter could use a little more description though. What does Crybaby's clown costume look like, and how does it correspond with her personality? What did the tent look like, and what kind of clues does it give us about where it might be located? Does LJ look the same as always, or is he dressed up differently in some way? Epilogues are supposed to be kind of vague, but vague as in it doesn't explain what's happening, why it's happening or when, but just that it is happening, and maybe has some small details that help the reader understand.
This is less of a critique and more of a suggestion, but maybe you could allude to Crybaby's amplified powers as a result of the drink she had in the last chapter, since it ended on a cliffhanger. This is just me, but it kind of feels like a loose end that you didn't tie off. Again, just an idea.
Overall, this was a nice way to close off the story and tie a nice bow at the end too. It felt like a good ending, which is definitely a good thing. I hope you will continue to write stuff.
I'm not going to stop writing for a long time. I might do more than be on the site in the future, but for now, my work is only here.
I'm glad that you enjoyed. :]
