So they say that the holiday is here

That the spooks have come, as they do every year

So they say that Laughing Jack has come back

The right ol’ clown, with his shaggy black hair and lack of a frown

So they say to be careful

That on All Hallows Eve’, he’s especially ca-ray-zee

But why not play?

Why not stay?

After all, it’s All Hallowed Eve!

What’s wrong with a clown that’s a little ca-ray-zee?

Hey creeper!

This is such a fun song/poem about LJ. It really encapsulates the clown side in a fun, bouncy way but keeps creepiness underneath!

So they say that the holiday is here

That the spooks have come, as they do every year

Great opening; I love the rhyming here.

So they say that Laughing Jack has come back

The right ol’ clown, with his shaggy black hair and lack of a frown

I love the rhyming of frown, but i think if you had it so the first line ended with clown, so you can rhyme it with frown at the end of the second line. I think keeping up the rhyming scheme would make it even more playful and sing-song, which works well with the dark nature of LJ!

So they say to be careful

That on All Hallows Eve’, he’s especially ca-ray-zee

should be Hallows' Eve, with the apostrophe after Hallows :)

I love the way you write 'ca-ray-zee' it really fits his character

But why not play?

Why not stay?

this was my favourite bit! I think you could do some more quick, short lines between the longer ones!

After all, it’s All Hallowed Eve!

What’s wrong with a clown that’s a little ca-ray-zee?

i think you mean Hallows' instead of hallowed! But i love the ending here.

Such a cool way to write about LJ!
