After the crash and fall

*This is a fanfic of Jason the Toymaker, a Creepypasta character created by Krisantyl. This is a snippet of his childhood from the actual origin story (or at least, how I imagined it to be). This is under my folder titled “Creepypasta stuff”. Gacha Club character designs are under my forum titled “My character designs<33[2]”. Enjoy!*

“I hope that Johnathan will be okay.” Amelia said glumly.

Jason and Amelia were on the swings at the playground. News had gotten out around school that someone had pushed Johnathan down the stairs, and he had to be taken to the hospital for broken bones.

“Some kids are saying that you pushed Johnathan. Can you believe that? Johnathan got pushed, and they’re saying mean things about you. I know you, Jason. You’re nice. You would never do something like that.” Amelia said.

Jason smiled, holding back his laughter. Of course Johnathan would shout about it for everyone to hear, and of course some would believe him.

But the important thing was that Amelia didn’t believe him! Johnathan deserved to get pushed for spending so much time with Amelia. Amelia was his best friend, and he couldn’t let anyone take her away from him.

“I hope that he gets better. He must have hit his head really badly.” Jason said, just to keep suspicions away from him.

Truth be told, he wished that Johnathan would die, along with Amelia’s other friend, Lucy.

But he couldn’t say that out loud, now could he?

“Thank you.” Amelia said, tears in her eyes, a grateful grin on her face.

He rubbed her back, attempting to comfort her. He didn’t like to see her cry, she was too sweet to cry.

He’d deal with Lucy later…

Hello, My Friend!

Hi Vamp! Here to continue the LJ-Jason saga, I thought I'd leave a quick review on this piece!

To start, ooo, I see Jason still isn't quite happy with Amelia and her friends, and not only does he feel nothing about Johnathan, but he even has a new target in his sights. Poor Lucy...

As far as recommendations go, I have nothing! Not a typo in sight, and this read nice as-is.

Favorite parts, hmmm...I would have to go with:

Jason smiled, holding back his laughter. Of course Johnathan would shout about it for everyone to hear, and of course some would believe him.

But the important thing was that Amelia didn’t believe him!

Ooo, I love how Jason knows very well that others could catch onto him, and others could very well start to think of him as some sort of monster, but he doesn't even blink at the thought. It's so eerie in a way!

And with that, overall, this was a great snippet to continue to story! Nicely done! :D

Thus concludes my review. To leave off, here are some inspiring quotes, courtesy of your resident Poe freak ~

"They who dream by day are cognizant of many things which escape those who dream only by night."
"Words have no power to impress the mind without the exquisite horror of their reality.”
"I would define, in brief, the poetry of words as the rhythmical creation of Beauty."

I'm not exactly sure what this is exactly supposed to be, but this is a good exercise in saying many things about characters with a very small piece of work. Amelia is characterized as a good-natured girl who is a little naive, believing that Jason wouldn't ever do such a thing as push Jonathan down the stairs. This, as a result, helps characterize Jason, of which we are shown a lot of his inner thoughts. A manipulative, possessive character who cares only about Amelia, and wants to have her for himself, and is actively trying to get to rid of other people who spend time with her. Overall, this is an interesting small snippet that shows the essence of two new characters.
