Laughing Jill smiled as she chased the humans with her chainsaw. Halloween was the one night where she took a day off murdering.
Whenever the time called for it, Laughing Jill murdered those who deserved the brunt of her chainsaw. Later on, she’d give cupcakes to any children that were around.
But on Halloween, she joined the human scare actors at the Terrorland theme park and scared people with her bleeding chainsaw.
Laughing Jill never killed innocents! That was the difference between her and her brother, but the visitors didn’t know that, did they? They just thought that she was a terrifying scare actor, joining in the spooktacular fun.
There was a noise in the air. It wasn’t a delighted scream or a sinister laugh, but crying. Not prerecorded ghost tears, but real tears.
Laughing Jill stood still. She scanned the park, searching for the source of tears.
Sitting on the curb of a sidewalk was a little girl, about nine years old, crying her eyes out.
Laughing Jill frowned. The managers weren’t consistent with their rules. Sometimes young children were caught up in the scares.
Wielding a chainsaw wasn’t fun when people weren’t wonderfully frightened.
Laughing Jill approached the girl and sat next to her.
“What’s the matter, kiddo?”
The girl turned to look at her, eyes red and blurry from tears.
“D-D-Don’t hurt me.” She stuttered. The poor thing’s teeth were chattering.
“Relax. I’m not going to hurt you. I’m just here to have a good ol’ frightful time. That’s all.” She said.
A few people stopped to look at her. They were judging her. Some looked touched, some looked disgusted. Some were filming the event.
But Laughing Jill ignored them and placed a hand on the girl’s shoulder.
“Listen to me: Halloween is supposed to be fun. These people come here to get scared. They like getting scared. To them, we monsters are like old friends. Instead of thinking about how sharp our teeth are or how menacing our eyes look, think about our immaculate style and our knack for having a grand time. We just love Halloween. It’s the time of year when we can be free. When we can be ourselves. Besides, there are not just tricks,”
Laughing Jill took out her left hand. A cupcake appeared on her left palm. She handed it to the girl, who hesitantly accepted it.
“But treats.”
A whole crowd was surrounding them.
“So go on out there and enjoy yourself! It’s Halloween, baby! The one night of the year where you can get craAAAZZZZYYY!” She cackled, the joy of Halloween already setting in.
The girl bit the cupcake. She chewed for a little while, then she grinned a frosting grin.
Everyone clapped as they got up. Laughing Jill gave her a strong handshake before she left for more scares.

This is a nice little story about the nice side almost all humans have, even deranged serial killers. Not sure if Laughing Jill was a serial killer, or just a method actor, but apparently she's amazing at her job. The only thing I noticed inaccurate was how nobody already sat down with the kid, or people judged her for sitting down and trying to comfort the kid. And the kid also ate a random cupcake from a strangers hand? Anyways, I enjoyed the story, thank you for sharing it with us.

She is an entity that kills off abusive parents. She is from the Creepypasta fandom. In my AU, she scares humans at a Halloween theme park event during her spare time and also conjures up cupcakes. She has a soft spot for children.
I%u2019m glad you enjoyed this!
I've just seen the images in your thread so this is actually a very aptly timed post!
I think some setting the scene would be good upfront here. Is she chasing them across the whole theme park? Is there a specific area she likes to hang out? This is the month to go all in with the spooky description so it would be cool to see how the place is decorated too!
How does this work? Should the young children not be let in? How would they mange this otherwise?
I love this explanation. It's great for a young child but still sums up the story well.
This seemed out of place because the crowd wasn't then mentioned again.
Enjoying the spooky stories this month - thanks for sharing!

The crowd gradually formed, like when people want to start filming stuff to post on social media. I probably should have been more clear on that though.
There%u2019s more to this story, as it is still a work in progress.
But I am glad that you are enjoying the content! ^v^
Normally the age limit is 18 but of course people sneak children in and of course, there are staff who don%u2019t care.
