*This fanfic is underneath my folder titled âCreepypasta stuffâ. Gacha Club character designs are under this forum:Â https://www.youngwriterssociety.com/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=117842&start=30. Who is Janice? She is my OC and the fanchild of the Creepypasta characters Laughing Jack and Jeff the Killer. (You can google her parents if you like). Oh yes and Endora is also an OC of mine. They are both six years old in this fic. Enjoy!*
Itâs a nice day outside! My Dads let me play outside for a bit so now Iâm in the woods, burying up Chel in the dirt. Yesterday she stole my Barbie that I brought to school so I came into her house last night and killed her. Now Iâm burying her.
I wish her finger wasnât sticking up. How much dirt do I need to use? I donât want to spend all day doing this.
âWhat are you doing?â
I stop. Why is there somebody else here?
âNone of your business. Go away.â
âYou canât tell me what to do. Youâre not my Mom.â
I turn around to look at her, to see who is talking to me, and-
Itâs Endora. Sheâs in my class. Sometimes she looks at me but she doesnât really talk to me. Why is she here now?
âOkay but I want to be alone.â
Endora doesnât leave. Sheâs looking at my dirt pile. I kick some dirt over the finger and it hides. Yes! I did it! I hid the finger! I hope that she didnât see.
âWhatâs that?â Endora asks, pointing to the dirt pile.
âItâs just dirt, what else would it be? And why are you still here?â
Endora doesnât say anything. Sheâs twirling her ginger hair, looking down at her feet. I kind of want to throw dirt at her but I also want to know why sheâs here, since Iâm usually in the woods alone or with my parents.
âI was looking for some flowers. My house isnât far from here. I-I like flowers. And Iâm not going away. This isnât your house.â Endora says.
Huh? She just wants flowers? I didnât really think a human would go that far to get flowers but I guess Iâm wrong about that.
I like flowers too. I think theyâre really pretty. Usually I pick flowers by myself and itâs fun, but I wonder what itâd be like to talk to another living human about stuff and not a ghost who always whines about being dead. Maybe it will be nice. I donât have to tell my Dads that I spoke to a human. It can be like a secret or something.
âOkay. You can stay. I-â
âI was going to stay anyway.â
I donât like being interrupted, but I wonât kill her. Iâm not that mad.
âI know where you can find nice flowers. Follow me.â
Iâm going to keep looking back to make sure she actually follows me. I hope she doesnât do anything bad.
I donât feel like committing murder right now.
âŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠ
I took her where the creek flows. Itâs also where me and my Dads dump bodies sometimes. But theyâve all rotted away by now.
She thanked me and now sheâs picking flowers. I donât know what sheâs picking flowers for. Doesnât she have friends to play with?
âAre you using the flowers for a funeral?â
âI-what?â
âA funeral. Hu-people use flowers for funerals.â
âNo, I just like them. Nobody died.â Endora says, rolling her eyes.
Well, yanking the flowers right off the ground does sound like fun.
I bend down to the ground, my claws curling around the flowerâs stem. Itâs not that hard to pull it out. I thought it was going to be harder.
âFlowers are alive. You kill them when you pick them. So youâre killing flowers right now.â
âNo Iâm not! Flowers arenât people! Theyâre not alive!â
Sheâs crying a little now. What? I just said the truth.
âSo? Plants are still alive like people. They donât have to be people to be alive. But it doesnât matter. They were going to die anyway. You just made their deaths faster. They probably would have suffered a longer death in the winter.â
I donât know why Iâm telling her this. But I feel like she needs to know.
Endora opens her mouth, her blue eyes still glistening with tears, âI donât like talking about death.â
Now Iâm a little angry. Every human gets all sad and scared about death like itâs terrible or something. Like itâs the worst thing in the world. But itâs not. Humans have done more bad things than die.
âNobody likes to talk about death. It still happens.â
âOkay but I donât like it.â
âI donât care.â
Endora is quiet now. Sheâs hugging her legs close to her chest. Did I really scare her? I didnât even show her my face! What is she all sad about?
âYou killed them but at least they donât have to suffer. Nobody likes to feel pain. And now you get to watch them turn brown! Itâs like watching over the class pet, except you get to see them die! Thatâs pretty cool, right? You get to-â
âAre you a vampire?â
IâŠumâŠwhat?
âHuh?â
âA VAMPIRE! Are you a vampire? My brother said that you and your parents are vampires and thatâs why youâre so weird and scary and mean and-please donât kill me! I donât want to die! I HATE death! I-â
âWeâre not vampires! Vampires donât exist. If they did, then I would know. Now, please stop crying. Theyâre just dead flowers. Itâs better for somebody to care about their corpses than for them to die alone.â
âYou think so?â
âI know so.â
Endora doesnât say anything. Sheâs twirling the flower stems in her fingers. I donât know what happened. Why did she talk to me about vampires? Whatâs happening now? Why do I want to be nice to her? This is all so weird!
âHow do you know that the flowers are happy? That vampires arenât real?â She finally asks.
âBecause,â I begin, âYouâre being nice right now and everyone likes nice people. So do flowers. And I know everything about monsters. Mostly everything, anyway. Besides, wouldnât the dead people just come back as vampires?â
âI guess. What kind of monster stuff do you know?â
I sit a little bit closer to her on the ground. My parents said Iâm not supposed to talk about this stuff, but now I kind of want to tell her, even if she is being a little annoying. She isnât running away. Maybe I can tell her-NO! I can never tell anyone! Itâs wrong to tell people!
But I do want her to play at my house!
âI just know. Do you-do you want to come to my house?â
âNot until you tell me about the monster stuff.â She folds her arms over her chest after sheâs said this.
âItâs none of your business.â
âYes it is!â
âNo itâs not!â
âYes it is!â
âNo itâs not!â I yell, throwing dirt at her face. I wish that she would just listen to me!
âFine! Iâll go now if youâre just going to be mean to me!â
Endora gets up and is now walking away from me. Huh. I donât really want to be alone right now. Usually I donât care, but nowâŠI donât want her to leave yet.
âWait! Come back! Iâll tell you everything at my house!â I call out. I feel weirdly pathetic like a human but sheâs still walking away. Did she hear me? Did-
Sheâs running back to me. Okay. Thatâs good.
Iâll only tell her a little bit. Not too much. I wonât let the secret out.
Iâll send her away before my parents get home.
âŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠ.
âThis is your house?â Endora asks suddenly.
Weâre inside my house now. There is dust everywhere, broken furniture, windows that are boarded up and the scent of blood in the air. I donât think Endora knows that itâs blood though.
âYes. Everyone thinks itâs abandoned but itâs not. Me and my parents live here. We have to. We donât have any money.â
Iâm not going to tell her why itâs abandoned. She doesnât need to know that.
âOh. Iâm sorry.â
âWhy? I like my house!â
Itâs not fun tripping over stuff and the screams in the basement can get annoying, but other than that, itâs really fun!
âDo you want to see my room? I have a lot of cool stuff I can show you!â
I turn around to look at her. I know she wants to hear about the monster stuff but I want to show her my room, especially the toys that I made!
âSure.â Endora smiles.
I wanted her to say yes, but I didnât think that she would. I also didnât expect her to smile at me. Humans donât ever smile at me.
ItâsâŠuhâŠitâs great.
âOkay!â
I lead her upstairs to my room, checking behind me to make sure that she doesnât trip on any of the stuff.
âŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠ
âThis is my room! We can play with some of my toys in here.â
We are in my room right now. It looks abandoned like the rest of the house, but I have pink curtains and pink bedsheets and pink everything, basically.
Endora is looking around without saying anything.
âAre you a human?â She asks suddenly.
IâŠI didnât think that she would ask that. I guess she figured it out already since I told her that I knew monster stuff and that me and my fathers live in this house. But I didnât think she would ask it so quickly.
âNo. Iâm not. Do you want to see my dolls? I can get them right now!â
Iâm already looking through my pink and white plaid-print box where all of my dolls are. I know I said I was going to tell her about the monster stuff but I donât think that I want to anymore.
I hear her walking closer to me, until sheâs right behind me.
âWhat are you?â
I knew she was going to ask that question. I donât think that sheâs going to stop.
I get up and turn around to face her. I can still see her through the strands of my blond hair, but she canât see my face.
âThere are people who already know what my parents are. Some people think they are real. Most donât. Weâre like demons, but not exactly. People call usâŠCreepypastas.â
Endora raises an eyebrow.
âWhat?â
âItâs not about pasta. Thatâs just the name. But thatâs what we are. Thatâs what I am.â
âI still donât understand. What is a Creepypasta?â
I take a deep breath. I donât know how Iâm going to tell her without scaring her. I think Iâll just say it really fast.
âA Creepypasta is a monster that kills people. All Creepypastas kill people. They have to do it and they like doing it. Itâs what me and my parents do.â
I reach for my hair and pull it back so that she can see my face, what I really look like.
âThey told me to hide. I donât like to hide.â
âŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠ
Endora isnât saying anything. I wish that she did. I hate it when humans donât talk, that doesnât make anything better.
âYou donât look that scary.â
WhatâŠwhat? Does she really think that?
âBut I have wrinkles and sharp teeth and a cone nose! That scares people!â
âWell itâs not scaring me. You look fine.â
Fine? Fine? Wasnât she afraid of me talking about death? IâŠI canât believe she just said that I look fine. Humans are strange.
But I think I hear my parents coming.

Well then! As instructed, I have come for more Janice~
I like the red and black colour scheme for the title :3
Hmmm I feel like it might not be the best foot forward if you start out with a repetition of âoutsideâ?
But other than that: solid entry. Also what else was Janice gonna do with someone who stole her barbie? (Also, guess I was wrong in the teacher story, itâs not her parents that deal with her bullies, sheâs a strong girl, she can do that all by herself.)
Donât you need another âitâ here? âand it hidesâ the finger itself can no longer move on its own, right?
Idk why but this had me smile: âI kind of want to throw dirt at herâ
See this is what I mean with your stories sometimes feeling rather⊠sticky or slow: âHuh? She just wants flowers?â Why does she feel the need to repeat that here? If you had one character who constantly does this, it could be a character trait but itâs all your characters that repeat in narration what was already said in dialogue and it doesnât really say anything about Janice here. There are so many more interesting ways to convey disbelief or bewilderment. Maybe you could instead go for a physical reaction? Like, Janice blinks in disbelief, or she takes a step back, or tilts her head and then you add the narration that she didnât think humans would go this far for flowers?
âI wonder what itâd be like to talk to another living human about stuff and not a ghost who always whines about being dead.â I like this innocence Janice has despite being so murderous.
Interesting that Janice says she sometimes picks flowers for herself (she didnât mention them being for a funeral then) but cannot fathom Endora doing the same. Maybe she doesnât recognize that others too have a rich inner world?
Oh Janice, vampires donât exist in THIS universe but⊠the crossover potentials, girl XD
Aww and she DOES throw dirt, happiness achieved XD
I also love how you show their relationship develop. That was super well-handled; I could really picture these two talking to each other and even the wide-range of emotions Endora showed what with crying over death but then getting curious abt the monster stuff and (given how she rly didnât want Janice to boss her around earlier) how she decides to just leave when Janice annoys her :3 I like this!
See itâs things like this that make me think, maybe Janice is not beyond saving:
Sounds to me like maybe it is time for someone or something to challenge that? âA Creepypasta is a monster that kills people. All Creepypastas kill people. They have to do it and they like doing itâ Just saying~
Tho I am curious abt the âthey have to killâ line. I wonder what that means!
Oha, when Janice brought Corbin to her house and the parents arrived, it didnât go so well⊠soâŠ.
