Warning: This work has been rated 16+ for language, violence, and mature content.

*This fanfic is underneath my folder titled “Creepypasta stuff”. Gacha Club character designs are under my forum titled “My character designs<33[2]”. Janice, the main character, is fourteen years old and telling this story as like a blog thing. She is the fan child OC I made of Laughing Jack (a clown) and Jeff the Killer (slasher killer, he wields a knife). Laughing Jack is a Creepypasta character created by Snuffbomb, Jeff the Killer is a Creepypasta character created by GameFuelTV. They are not canonically together, this is just a ship. Also, Nina the Killer is in this story and she is a Creepypasta character created by Alegotic-twevel. And Smile Dog is here too. He was created by Michael Lutz. Zalgo is mentioned too and he was created by Goon Schmorky. Anyway, enjoy!*

Okay, so I usually leave school without anyone picking me up, but there was this one time when I was six years old that somebody came over to get me. (At least, that was what she told me at first. What she was actually doing was kidnapping me, but I didn’t know right then and there.) Anyway, I’m going to tell you all what happened now because I still think about this moment to this day and it haunts me whenever I go to sleep.

This is what happened: I had just left the school building and was heading home on the sidewalk when I heard a woman call out my name. I was a little scared because I didn’t expect anyone to come get me, so I walked up to where her voice was coming from, which was from this pink sports car with anime characters on it and I asked her how she knew my name.

This woman had raccoon tail hair extensions, insanely bright and glittery eyeshadow, a Monster High tee shirt, a pink tutu, and super high black and red striped socks with knee-high converse. She smelled overwhelmingly like vanilla perfume that sometimes I can still smell it if I focus hard enough and she had faint scars on either side of her mouth that she covered up with concealer or something (but like I could still see it since I wasn’t that far) kind of like one of my Dads.

She was just so bright, so glittery, so different from my parents who always dressed in black and white, that it was kind of an eyesore for me, but she didn’t seem to notice my discomfort, because she smiled at me and said she knew my Dad.

I asked her which one she was talking about and she said it was the one with the white hoodie and the knife. She said that her name was “Nina” and that she was his close friend coming to pick me up, that he trusted her to come and get me, and that I should get in the car right at that second or she would tell him I didn’t get in and then I would get in trouble.

You’d think a child of two of the most vile and dangerous Creepypastas would know better than to trust anybody, but again, I was still a child, she sounded convincing, and I didn’t want to get punished, so I got in the car.

Nina started blasting Paramore on the radio and off we went, to where I thought would be home.

But we didn’t go home. No, we stopped at the park. I asked her why we were there and she said it was because my Dad said it was okay for us to be doing other things first as long as we both made it home at a certain time.

That sounded like a reasonable thing a parent would say, so I decided not to worry about it and just played at the park for a bit. It was pretty fun, playing tag with Nina in her bold outfit. The breeze was cool and the sun was shining brightly and really, it was nice to be outside for a change. I don’t really go outside in the daytime, just for every night murder, Friday Family Murder Night (those are always fun), and hanging out with my pet dog creature-thing. It’s not like I really like the outside that much, anyway, but on that day, I did.

Nina took me to Toys’ R Us after that and bought me a Yasmina Clairvoya doll and Draculaura doll (both of which I still have, but their hair is so damaged now), then, we went over to McDonald’s and again, paid for it all. She got a Big Mac with fries and I got a Happy Meal. I have since thrown out the Toothless dragon toy that came with it because I didn’t really care about the movie and I still don’t, but that’s not the point.

The point is that I was having fun. Nina was paying for everything, we were going out together and for a moment, I kind of thought that I was human. I didn’t think about the beautiful sight of blood or teaching people a lesson. I didn’t even think about the people who stared at me because of the way I looked, I just enjoyed my time and had fun being a little ratchild six year old.

That was, until we were driving away after eating at McDonald’s. We were in her car and I was starting to like all the different Paramore and Avril Lavigne songs that she was playing. I planned on telling my fathers about those singers once I got home and I actually thought that we were going home, but then….

Then she went in a completely different direction than what I recognized to be home. And she didn’t even seem to care at all.

You better believe I asked Nina why she turned around. I was keeping down my panic, because my Dads always say that fear is a “weak human trait” but honestly, as she sped along the road, it was getting a little bit harder to pretend.

Do you want to know what she did? Do you? It’s almost as horrifying as how my parents do it, but guess what happened: Nina turned around and smiled at me. She must have wiped off the poorly put on concealer some time while she was driving, because I saw a bloody, carved-up grin on her face much like what my somewhat human Dad has and then, she said, and I quote:

“We’re going to my house, Janice! I’m gonna get your Dad soon and then we’ll all be a happy, wonderful family! Won’t that be amazing? I think it will be. We’re gonna have so much fun-but you’re gonna have to give me the dolls, because I paid for them, and I’m going to keep them all nice-looking in their boxes.”

It was bad enough that I was quite literally being kidnapped, but she started going off on this whole tangent about how she and my humanoid Dad were “meant to be”, how my more monstrous clown Dad “didn’t love him like how he was supposed to be loved” and a bunch of other crazy bullshit that I blocked out of my memory. She also said that anytime she bought dolls, they would only be for her and not me because I was a “little kid who would mess them up” and “take them out of their boxes”.

I really, really hate it when people don’t take the dolls out of the boxes. I don’t even care if they are collector dolls, they don’t deserve to be trapped in plastic prisons and have their synthetic hair coils tangled in elastic bands. I will never, EVER sympathize with doll-trappers and so, that was the final straw with Nina.

And do you want to know what I did next in my fright-fueled, tear-stained moment of anxiety and anger? Right on a road full of fast-moving cars, most with little regard for the road?

I unbuckled my seatbelt and pushed open the car door, still holding my dolls as I ran like whatever shreds of sanity I was created with depended on it (and it did) all while having a leg that was much longer than my other one, a leg that dragged as I fucking ran from Nina’s obscenely bright, Barbie-esque, weeb-leaning car.

Seriously, why didn’t anyone stop to help us? Did they not care or…whatever, it doesn’t matter anyway.

I kept running as Nina chased after me with her car, not even stopping for one moment of rest. The good thing about me not being a human is that I don’t need to stop and breathe. I don’t technically breathe at all since my lungs are rotten and somebody else’s, but I’m still somewhat alive through my clown Dad’s magic.

Even with my supernatural abilities, I still desperately wanted Nina to turn around so that I would feel less stressed when I was trying to look for the street that my parents live in. We live in this super wealthy street, but our mansion is the old abandoned one that has a driveway path to take, like the kind in a fantasy forest or something, and it sits on a hill. It smells like blood, which can get a little annoying to smell at times, but it is the most comforting smell to me now as it was when I was little.

And I really, really wanted to get to my haunted, blood-smelling mansion soon, because tears were running down my face and my chest was shaking with sobs.

But then, I stopped in front of this house, where I could faintly hear the sounds of screaming. It was still daylight, but I could sense a kind of evil magic that was keeping the screams silent and soundproofed.

After I opened the door to the house, I heard the sound of gurgled screams from upstairs and headed towards the sounds of screaming.

When I got there, I saw a pale man with a worn, leathery face. He had a bleeding scar on both sides of his mouth to make a Glasgow smile, his long, black hair was in tangled knots and pretty greasy, his white hoodie was splattered in blood, as were his ripped jeans and black boots. He was standing over this teen boy, holding a knife that dripped with blood with a shaking hand. His white eyes seemed to sparkle with delight, I could see him attempt to smile with the scars as he stared at the corpse.

I didn’t know what to say to him without getting in trouble, but then, he looked up from the corpse, right at me, and I felt my heart-thing beat louder as he cried out:

“Janice, what are you doing here? You’re supposed to be home! How did you even-“

“Some woman named Nina said that you told her-“

“Nina?!”

“Yes, her! She said that you told her to pick me up and then she took me to Toys R’ Us and then McDonalds and then she said she was going to take me to her house and-“

“Janice, did you seriously just leave me?! NOT COOL!”

I froze when I heard Nina’s voice in the house, calling out my name. My humanoid Dad, however, he just got this really, really cold look in his eyes, like he was fuming with rage underneath and he turned to me and said:

“Do not go downstairs. There’s gonna be a mess.”

I know he wasn’t mad at me but his tone was still kind of scary if I’m being for real right now.

I waited until I heard my humanoid Dad go downstairs to where Nina was and then I walked over to the door, intending to get out while they were fighting and just call upon my clown Dad to take me home, but, I heard Nina cry-yell at him for “leaving her” and so, I decided to stay at the top of the stairs and safely watch from a distance.

This woman, Nina, she started to yell at my humanoid Dad through tears about how it was “horrible of him” to just “leave her” and that he would be “happier” with her, that she had “more life” to her and that she only wanted to do good and the whole time, the hand that he used to hold the knife was shaking, like he was getting tired of her and then he ran towards her with the knife, slashing at her and yelling that he “regretted sparing her life”, that if he had known she would be “parasocial”, then he would have just killed her right then and there.

She was prepared, though, for she fought him back with a knife of her own, making him bleed. It was something I had never seen done to him before and I like, actually got scared for him.

Do not ask me why I did what I did. I don’t know the answer entirely. But I started to feel bad that I was watching my humanoid Dad fight her while I was watching, so I ran downstairs with my claws raised and teeth bared, ready to fight her off and-

My humanoid Dad pushed me aside as soon as I got down, yelling at me for “jumping in something I can’t handle” and he said he was gonna teleport me home and that I’d have to do my homework once I got there.

I wanted to help him out like how I do in Family Murder Night, but he sliced through the air in a specific way that allows a portal to our house and then, he pushed me through the void before I could even slash her!

At least I still had my dolls, though.

After I fell through the portal, I found that I was back home, still holding onto my dolls. My dog-creature pet, Smile Dog, ran towards me and started biting my face lightly. He doesn’t lick people to show affection, he bites.

It didn’t hurt me at all, like always. I pet the top of his head and then, I heard the tinkling of a music box to the tune of “Pop goes the weasel” behind me and I felt what served as my heart stop inside me, because I knew, right then and there, that my clown Dad was standing behind me and he was not happy.

I knew it before he asked me “Where in the name of Zalgo” I was. Normally I’d be a little upset that he cursed, but at that moment, I was just glad to be home, glad to be away from Nina.

I was still scared, though. I didn’t want to turn around and see him mad, because have you seen my parents mad? They’re actually, like, really terrifying.

But turn around I did and he was smiling that “You’re getting nightmares later” grin at me. My heart-thing raced in my chest as I haphazardly tried to explain to my clown Dad about Nina, worrying that he wouldn’t understand me and that I’d just get a lecture, but then he said in a calmly menacing voice that I should never have fallen for something as stupid as that and that only dumb human children got kidnapped, that he and my knife Dad taught me better than that, that he was sorely disappointed in me but glad I was still alive. Well, as alive a creature like me can be, anyway.

Look, I’m not proud that I nearly got kidnapped either, but how was I supposed to know that she wasn’t a friend of one of my Dads? I remember getting mad at him internally for still being upset with me. I almost yelled at him too, but then he did something he hardly ever does.

He hugged me.

My clown Dad does not like children and for some time, I wondered if he even liked me. He used to make jokes about how he’d sell me to the circus if I didn’t do what I was supposed to and one time, he actually did leave me behind in a circus for three hours to “teach me a lesson”. (It was my Aunt Laughing Jill’s circus and they both agreed to do this to me. I somewhat find it funny now but four year old me was not laughing).

It wasn’t the kind of hug he gives to his victims, which is suffocating on purpose, to assert his power over them. This felt real, genuine, full of love and so, I was just happy to be back home.

I heard the portal open behind me with a swipe and then, I felt my knife Dad’s arms hug me and so, I felt whole.

Of course, I had mounds of homework to complete, but let’s not talk about that, because it’s not as wholesome. <333

Zalgo is considered the ruler of all Creepypastas btw.

I hope you guys liked this. Here are some fanfics that connect with this:

Hello again, creeper! One last review day review before I'm off to bed.

I immediately love the voice of the narrator in this story. It feels fresh and fun compared to a lot of your other works, and it makes the goofiness of the "literally almost" part of the title make sense now, haha. Starting the story off with "Okay, so" absolutely nails the tone.

She smelled overwhelmingly like vanilla perfume that sometimes I can still smell it if I focus hard enough and she had faint scars on either side of her mouth that she covered up with concealer or something (but like I could still see it since I wasn’t that far) kind of like one of my Dads.

Haha this long rambling stream-of-consciousness description is so good!

You better believe I asked Nina why she turned around. I was keeping down my panic, because my Dads always say that fear is a “weak human trait” but honestly, as she sped along the road, it was getting a little bit harder to pretend.

It's so cute to picture a little six year old trying to act tough and not scared in this moment.

I will never, EVER sympathize with doll-trappers and so, that was the final straw with Nina.

I am so delighted that THIS is what broke the camel's back for Janice. Also, we know from an earlier note that she still has the dolls, so we know Nina doesn't end up taking the dolls back successfully!

Wanted to highlight this bit because the narrator's voice is so fantastic. What she's talking about is strange and dark, but she's speaking in such a casual contemporary teenager voice ("super wealthy" and "or something"). It's a unique combination.

I waited until I heard my humanoid Dad go downstairs to where Nina was and then I walked over to the door

Is she not at all interested in checking on the teen boy or at least looking at him?

He hugged me.

Awww!

Ah this is such a fun short - I'm glad I picked it from the Green Room! Janice is a really interesting character because she was raised by two creepypastas and has a totally different understanding of what "normal" is, but then still adheres to certain contemporary young person traits. It was also neat to see one of her dads to go head to head with an adversary of his own ilk.

Keep up the great work!
Wolfi

Yes, I love writing about her. ^v^ and I am glad you like reading about her just as much as I love writing about her.

Okay, let’s get the creepypastas assembled for this one (judging by the AN XD)

Oh and I’m ready to hear what would haunt JANICE to this day.

Again I feel like you’re trying to beat me over the head with descriptions of characters. It’s fine to sprinkle them in! Trust me :3

Ohhh ohhh no Nina in this verse is probably bad news, considering she couldn’t get Jeff here!

Why do I get the feeling that pop music might be rare Chez CreepyPasta Daddys and that this is the first time Janice actually heard this kinda music?

Aha! I knew it, this is Nina’s attempt at getting together with Jeff. And she even stole his daughter! I really wonder why they didn’t end up together!

I rly like this comparison:

I ran like whatever shreds of sanity I was created with depended on it
Or that she just has someone else’s lung. Now I wonder how SHE was created xd
And ofc she senses murder from a house and goes “welp, guess that’s where my dads are” and she’s right xd

Oh I like how Jeff gets so furious when he hears Nina!

And parenting lessons in the middle of a fight scene lol
Still feel that a few more descriptions (abt the room and the fight!) would go well here… Will be difficult tho to filter that through a little kid’s view. Hmmm

Ah fun dad humor:
He used to make jokes about how he’d sell me to the circus if I didn’t do what I was supposed to

Ah well, that certainly was something xd

Yeah, Janice was created in some horrific manner which I will write about someday.

She%u2019s a special kind of weird.

But more importantly: will it include dialogue that's formatted correctly? =D

[But srly, I would be interested in reading that!]
