Jeff excitedly tells Liu about the glories of Halloween, Liu disagrees

*This Creepypasta fanfic is underneath my folder titled “Creepypasta stuff”. This is the sequel to my fanfic titled “Jeff Woods gets ready for spooky season!”. Gacha Club character designs are underneath my forum titled “My character designs <33”. Jeff was created by GameFuelTV, Liu was created by Vampirenote13. In this AU, Jeff is the older brother, not Liu, because it just FEELS right. Now, enjoy!*

“…But the best thing about Halloween ISN’T the candy or the costumes. It’s the monsters! The monsters that lurk in every corner. See that monster over there?” Jeff asked, pointing to a particularly ghoulish clown animatronic reaching out with contorting claws.

“Yes, I see it.” Liu said unenthusiastically. Ugh, why couldn’t he lighten up? It was Halloween! They were supposed to have fun!

Jeff ran right up to the monster and gave it a hug, ignoring how its arms moved about, how the animatronic itself was cackling evilly, and how Liu cried out:

“What are you doing?! Get out!”

Jeff didn’t budge. The monster needed a hug. The monster was a friend. Liu knew it well because Jeff always told him to be nice to the monsters, but sometimes, it was good to repeat it.

It wasn’t until the house owner screeched at Jeff for being “too close” to the animatronic that he actually did let go, but still, the love was in his heart.

The monster just needed to be loved.

Hey vampricone! Dropping by to give you a review. I will be using the YWS'mores method to help structure my review. :)

The Top Graham Cracker: I didn't realize you had another part to Jeff and Liu's story! I saw it in the Green Room and knew I had to come and give my thoughts on it. So let's see what happens next! Hopefully Jeff doesn't get poor Liu into too much trouble on Halloween, eh?

The Slightly Burnt Marshmallow: I don't really have any constructive criticism to give on this! As always, I do find it a little short and encourage you to include a bit more imagery and descriptive language whenever possible, but besides that, this was still good. It was clear and concise.

The Melty Chocolate Bar Oh good, nothing crazy happened here! I was a little worried, not gonna lie. I did get a little worried when Jeff ran up to the clown animatronic and gave it a hug, because... well... usually those things come to life in horror stories LOL but seems like he was fine! You almost forget that he's only eight years old with how brave he is. I like how Liu is entirely unimpressed with him and with Halloween in general lol

My favorite lines were these:

Jeff didn’t budge. The monster needed a hug. The monster was a friend. Liu knew it well because Jeff always told him to be nice to the monsters, but sometimes, it was good to repeat it.

It wasn’t until the house owner screeched at Jeff for being “too close” to the animatronic that he actually did let go, but still, the love was in his heart.

The Bottom Graham Cracker: Overall, I really enjoyed this! I liked the way you described the "monster" and how Jeff didn't view him as a monster, but just someone who needed a hug and a friend. It definitely says a lot about him and how he will view the world as he gets older. Hopefully Liu is more careful, though! >_>

I hope this review was a bit helpful. :)

I am very glad you enjoyed this! I made another story with Jeff and Halloween, except he%u2019s an adult. You can check it out here:

Jeff gets ready for Halloween…as an adult.

Hello I'm back for more of Jeff's story! I'm interested to see how this connects to the way he was bullied. At the moment we've had the story of how he is as an adult reflecting on the bullying and then this age (8 still?) where I'm assuming it's before the bullying. It's interesting to see how young and innocent he appears to be before anything happens to him.

Liu is clearly a very different character and I like how you've used him as a dramatic foil to highlight some of the things in Jeff's personality.

The monster just needed to be loved.

I like how this links both back to Liu saying he would marry a monster and then also to his future as an adult!

Thanks for sharing

I%u2019m glad you enjoyed. As of right now I%u2019m still working on the part where he was bullied at thirteen. I want to write it well because bullying is a serious thing and it can really have a bad effect on people (Jeff is kind of extreme but you get the idea).

If you want, I could update you on when I post more things to his story.

Glad you enjoyed!
