*This fanfic is under my folder titled “Creepypasta stuff”. Gacha Club character designs are under this forum: https://www.youngwriterssociety.com/topic/117842-my-character-designs-lt-33-3?start=255. Laughing Jill and Laughing Jack are Creepypasta characters, everyone else is my OC. Laughing Jack is canonically from London so I tried giving him British slang words…idk if it’s cringe or not. But enjoy!*
“Look at the ratings: They’ve decreased over the past couple of years. People want something new, they want something fresh and we’ve got nothing.” Ms. Mallow said. Ms. Mallow was the manager of “Magicland”, turned into “Terrorland” for Halloween. They were all in the conference room, discussing Terrorland ratings.
Laughing Jill sighed. Already, the humans were down in the dumps, focusing on the negative.
All was not lost.
“I don’t think you guys met my amazing brother!” Laughing Jill exclaimed.
“You have a brother?” Ms.Mallow asked, hopefulness in her eyes.
“Yes, I do!”
“Then what are we holding this meeting for? Bring him over!”
Laughing Jill reached inside of her dress pocket and took out a small wooden jack-in-the-box, faded over the years. It was how she got him to come over.
She cranked it up, the melody of “Pop goes the weasel” playing.
Everyone watched with wide eyes in anticipation and fear. The song was getting slower…slower…
And then, the lid popped open, enveloping the room in black smoke.
“Introducing Laughing Jack, the greatest clown of all time!” Laughing Jill beamed.
The latter was currently standing on the table, his striped monochromatic black and white costume covered in blood. With an eldritch midnight black claw, he held the bleeding head of a little blond, brown-eyed girl. Her eyes bulged in fear. He glared at everyone, his mouth set in a scowl.
“T-t-that’s my niece.” Bryon, one of the scare actors, stuttered. His body shook, as if he were about to faint. Laughing Jill really, really hoped that he didn’t.
At these words, Laughing Jack’s scowl formed into a grin, his black eyes came alight with the joy a child got from burning ants.
“Yeah? Well guess what, barmy? She’s my dinner now!” Laughing Jack cackled. Then, he bit into the girl’s head, which made an awful crunching noise, as if he were eating a bag of chips. Blood dribbled from his coal lips. Almost everyone except Laughing Jill recoiled in fright and disgust.
Laughing Jill merely rolled her eyes. He never kept a napkin handy. Ever.
“Please don’t be gross in front of the humans.”
“What do you want, you little arse?” Laughing Jack snarled. He jumped off the table and had turned his glare to Laughing Jill.
“I just want you to come scare some humans with us. That’s all.”
“Oh yeah? Really?” Laughing Jack asked, a hint of his smile on his face. Laughing Jill already knew what he was going to say next before he said it.
“Do I get to kill these humans?”
“No, Jack.” Laughing Jill sighed, exasperated. Why, why, why did he have to ask?
“No? No?! What’s the point of scaring them if I don’t get to kill them later? That’s like eating ice cream without chocolate frosting.”
“Scaring people is just as fun as killing them.”
“Easy for you to say, you don’t kill anyone.”
The humans watched them with curious eyes, a slight flick of terror in them. Laughing Jill had to prove to them that he was okay.
“You forget. I do kill people. I have a chainsaw!” Laughing Jill cried out, brandishing her rusted chainsaw from her pocket.
“You kill people?!” Mira, another scare actor, asked.
“I don’t kill kids!” Laughing Jill beamed.
“What fun is killing people if they’re not innocent?”
“It’s loads of fun, Jack! You know what’s funner? Scaring them. So won’t you be a dear and join us? Just for this night? Please?”
Laughing Jack chewed on the girl’s head for a long, pained moment. When there was a considerable chunk bitten off, he threw it across the room, the head banging against the wall, oozing blood as it flew down.
“You know what, Jillian?” Laughing Jack asked, a sour smile on his face.
“You interrupted me in the middle of a murder. A murder! I didn’t even get to take out her innards! A murder isn’t complete without the removal of innards. You know what happened earlier? The little brat called me ugly, as if she didn’t look like a damn weasel. I mean, come on. Her eyes were about to pop!”
Bryon’s fear was all gone. Only hatred was left. Laughing Jill swallowed hard. She hoped that he wouldn’t do anything foolish.
“That’s my niece you’re talking about, clown.”
Laughing Jack smirked, but Bryon stormed around the table to face him.
In one swift move, Bryon punched Laughing Jack in the cheek.
“You think that was excruciating pain? I’ll show you excruciating pain, you load of tosh!” Laughing Jack yelled, raising a claw to Bryon’s face.
Laughing Jill dropped her chainsaw and tackled Laughing Jack to the ground before he could hurt Bryon.
The humans were judging them, she could sense it. She had to do something and fast.
“Please, Laughing Jack? Can you join us?” She whispered in his ear.
He sighed, rolled his eyes, then smiled. It wasn’t a real smile, but it was something.
“I’ll do it.” He said.
“Go tell the humans.” Laughing Jill said, getting off him.
“I’ll do it!” Laughing Jack cried out for all the humans to hear.
“Great. Let’s get started.” Ms. Mallow said, pursing her lips.
The humans didn’t exactly look pleased, especially Bryon, who had the expression of a murderer on his face.
They’d like him soon, though.
Hopefully.

Laughing Jill cackled, running with her rusted chainsaw. The humans screamed, a sign that they were having fun. There was a certain forbidden joy of scaring people in a Halloween theme park, fueling their fright.
She heard another clown cackle and turned to see that Laughing Jack was playing his accordion, leading a group of children away.
Wait…Terrorland was closed for children. Anyone under the age of twenty-one wasn’t allowed inside.
What was he up to?
There were plenty of thrills and chills out there, the humans didn’t need her.
Laughing Jill had to follow him before he messed things up.
Before he ruined lives.

The thoughts of Laughing Jack
They’re all looking at me. Every single child is trapped under my spell. We’re all in a lovely circus tent. Well, it’s not quite as lovely as mine, but it’s not ugly looking, either.
“Children! It is of my utmost pleasure to be with you here today.”
They don’t blink. They are hopelessly locked in a state of blank stares. If they want to run, they won’t be able to.
“I remember telling you all that I had candy.”
Still, they stare.
“It was all but a lie! I’ve taken you here to kill you. You’re all going to die!” I cackle. I can’t help it, it’s all just so hilarious!
Now, far too late, the children have a look of fear upon their eyes. They all scramble to run, but I’ve already stretched my arms out to grab them!
I’m holding a screaming, crying child in each arm. It’s insane how much they move. I need to put them somewhere…somewhere where they can’t escape…then get the others…
Wait! Someone has stepped into my tent.
Ugh. It’s Laughing Jill, the buzzkill!

Laughing Jill sighed. Of course Laughing Jack would want to lure children away in a circus tent to be murdered. She just thought that he would give it a rest. That he would just merely scare people with her and not do anything to harm them.
Luckily, the children were still alive. They were looking at her with glazed eyes. They must have been hypnotized by Laughing Jack’s accordion, there was no other explanation.
“Alright kids, time to get back to your guardians!” Laughing Jill said. With a quick clap of her hands, the children disappeared. She had the power to magically teleport children back to the people who cared and loved them. That was one of the reasons why children liked her so much. If a child was being mistreated by a parent or a guardian, she could simply whisk them away to a place with loving, kind people.
Laughing Jack, on the other hand, despised all of humanity and wished that they would all bleed to death, especially the children. He had a terrible experience with his first and only human friend, so Laughing Jill tried to give him the benefit of the doubt.
But that Halloween night was just one of those nights where she felt like he would never change.
“Why do you always ruin everything?” Laughing Jack asked. He threw his hands up in frustration.
“I ruin everything? You’re the one who wants to kill anything that has a heart! Can’t you just put aside the murder for one second?”
“No! They’re never going to learn from their mistakes, so they shouldn’t live! They’re disgusting, vile creatures and-“
“You’re disgusting and vile! You get joy out of killing small children!”
“Oh, sweet Jill is soo sad. I feel terribly sorry for her. I-“
“What if we comprised?” Laughing Jill asked.
While she hated every fiber of his being at the moment, while she felt like extending her claws and digging them into his chest, she still wanted a brother. She wanted him to see how wonderful life was. She wanted him to understand that not every human was an unpleasant one.
“A compromise?” Laughing Jack asked.
“Yes, a compromise. You stay with me in Terrorland park and scare the humans. After that, we can go watch the Terrifer sequel at my circus. I have an old TV there that can turn on with our powers. You know what Terrifer is? It’s about a vile and disgusting clown who kills people for sport. If you like the sequel, you can watch the first movie. I think that you’ll like it. He’s just like you.”
“What do you say?” Laughing Jill asked.
She hadn’t meant to insult Laughing Jack when she was talking to him, but she just couldn’t stand him.
Laughing Jack grinned a sharpened, demon grin.
“I’ll do it!” He said.
“Great! Let’s go scare people, then!” Laughing Jill said, gesturing to the entrance flap of the tent, suppressing the urge to scream at him.
Without a care in the world, Laughing Jack walked through the tent. Laughing Jill followed close behind.
The Halloween excitement had left her, but she’d still pack in a few scares, if only to give the humans some kind of great excitement to take back home.
