*This is a fanfic with the ship between Jason the Toymaker and Laughing Jack. Jason was created by Krisantyl, Laughing Jack was created by Snuffbomb. They are both in the Creepypasta fandom. Gacha Club character designs are under my forum titled “My character designs<33[2]”. Enjoy!*
Jason stitched together strings and seams, making sure that the doll looked like a perfect combination of him and his love. He had never made a doll that wasn’t completely porcelain before, so he had reverted to his true form as claws would be easier to tinker away with.
He could hear the spirits of the children he killed and trapped in dolls muttering curiously about Jason’s newer creation in progress. He didn’t mind, it wasn’t like they were attempting to escape or anything. They couldn’t, in the state that they were in.
But the doll right before him was going to be used for a different purpose. It wasn’t going to be merely something that held a ghost, it was going to be his and Laughing Jack’s child! Of course, neither of them would actually love the child, as that was sheer ridiculousness, but having a child lure other children to them would prove rather helpful! From Jason’s understanding, young children obeyed their parents without any further questioning, looking up to them as the ultimate truth, believing it impossible for them to tell lies.
Sure, Jason and Laughing Jack could manipulate children to do whatever they wanted them to do, but having a child of their own would require a lot less work to gain trust.
Plus, maybe Jason could learn what it was that made children so desirable, so wanted by others. He didn’t think about it much, but sometimes, he wondered what life would be like if he didn’t ever have the desire to hurt people. Maybe Amelia would still be his friend. Maybe his parents would let him play more. Maybe-
Maybe this, maybe that. It was never Jason’s fault that he became what he was. Most people didn’t know how to talk to him and his parents just wanted him to be a “genius”. They didn’t let him play with any toys, that was how much they cared about making him “smart”.
Besides, if Jason never went down the path that he did, he would have never created the toy shop, never would have become a cryptid that defied death, never would have showed the miserable children of his town what it was like to feel true pain, never would have briefly joined a carnival filled with creatures he didn’t like very much, and most importantly-
He would have never met Laughing Jack, the only one who could truly understand his darkness, the one who could make the music box in his chest feel like a heart again.
Jason sewed up the last seam of the child-sized doll, wiping a few strands of white hair from his face with his claws, feeling a sliver of pride slip inside of him as he stared at the girl-creature with waist-long crimson red hair, just like the hair he had in his false form, with streaks of black, just like Laughing Jack’s hair, her skin peach and pale, made of wax and cloth, her nose a black and white striped cone, just like Laughing Jack’s, just like-
“That doll looks absolutely exquisite!” A rasping, guttural voice cried out giddily from behind Jason, a sound that made him jump out of surprise at first until he realized who it was.
“I’m glad that you think so, but couldn’t you announce your presence?“ Jason asked, turning around to face him.
Laughing Jack, with his shoulder-length, choppy black hair in mangled strands in front of his pale, leathery face that Jason loved to run his claw through, his white eyes that sparkled so prettily under the moonlight, his black and white striped long-sleeved shirt that always had at least one splatter of blood on it, his black baggy pants and shining black clown shoes, his black suspenders, his…
His lovely maggot-infested smile that Laughing Jack was using in a cheeky manner at the moment, saying:
“Sorry about that, I’m quite used to creeping up quietly behind others. Now, I’ve found a fitting candidate for the doll that you are creating right now. She’s about ten years old, her name is Aeliana, and she has these rather awful friends who don’t listen to any rules. How bad are they? Moments ago they were throwing rocks at shop windows and Aeliana was left all alone. It’ll take a while, but I’m confident that if I keep visiting her, she’ll open up to me more, and then I’ll bring her here, to you. I still need more time to get to know her.”
Jason glanced over at the doll he was making, which looked somewhat like it’d be ten years old from the mere height of it. Tall, but not quite tall. Even in the glass eyes it looked like it’d be ten years old.
He then turned towards Laughing Jack, feeling a grin spread across his ragged face. Like always, LJ didn’t let him down. In about no time, they’d have a doll-child-creature following their very orders!
It was in moments like those that Jason remembered how neatly his life was going as an adult, as a child-killing ghoul of porcelain toys and circus candy.
“Of course, I don’t expect you to know everything about her now. But I’m so happy that you were able to find somebody, I knew that you would, and-it’s getting well off into the evening, isn’t it? The sky is at a dim pink-orange color. Soon, it will be night and then, we will kill! Every night that I go out and kill, I feel this sort of joy inside of me, but now, with this good news, it’s brimming in my skin! I won’t lie to you, I was a little anxious about how this would carry out, but now that you’ve found a soul to trap, I feel more sure about carrying this out.” Jason said, a bright, peppery feeling that he took to be optimism burning inside of him.
With all that cheerfulness skittering in his not-quite alive body, Laughing Jack’s ever-growing beam adding on to it, he had to do something. Something marvelous, something monumental, something-
“What do you say about going on a killing spree right now? A little celebration for all that we’re doing? I’m feeling a bit murderous, are you?” Jason asked.
Laughing Jack didn’t say anything for a moment, he just stared at Jason unblinkingly, as if he were like the dolls that lined the shelves that Jason’s toy shop, just like how he slept, and then-
“Why, murder is the best way to celebrate! Let’s go now, the humans are waiting!” Laughing Jack grinned, extending his claw for Jason to take.
Before Jason accepted it, though, he imagined his hair gaining color, his green eyes becoming a golden-brown, his skin becoming smooth, and his claws morphing into fingers. If he was going out to kill, he had to be in his human form to trick his victims.
Once he became “human”, he joined Laughing Jack for a magnificent night of murder, proud of them both for what they achieved that day.

Hello Again, My Friend!
Continuing the saga, we're onto this one with a fresh review!
And here, the pieces fit together—well, almost. The body that will surely become Raisa is finished, and Aeliana's soul is ready to be transferred within, which means that night at the carnival did not end well for that poor soul after all...And in the most twisted way, seeing Jason and Jack's beaming pride at their pet-project here is both endearing and unnerving in a way!
Once again, no recommendations for change! This was nice as-is.
As for highlights and reactions...
I mean, the logic makes sense considering their line of "work" here. The sheer callousness with which they approach this subject, creating a child, is incredibly creepy and very much fits the creepypasta archetype. Especially Jason, the known sociopath!
Another great example of Jason's nature, and I love that this line stemmed directly from him thinking about his past.
Okay, that was a very cute line to describe the emotion there, love it ~
Honestly, I don't think I've read a detailed description of Raisa in these stories, nor have I seen any Gacha creations. She sounds freaking adorable, I love how she has traits of both Jason and Jack! (
not me secretly wanting to draw some art of her in the future XD)Seeing where she ended up, I love even more that you gave us a bit of story surrounding Aeliana, because just knowing that her soul will be sacrificed to create Raisa creates such a sad and merciless conflict that fits perfectly in this universe.
Overall, I loved getting to see this origin piece for Raisa! Nice!
"They who dream by day are cognizant of many things which escape those who dream only by night."
"Words have no power to impress the mind without the exquisite horror of their reality.”
"I would define, in brief, the poetry of words as the rhythmical creation of Beauty."
Thank you. There is more to add, but I will let you know.
Now, I am curious about this one thing: You know your story %u201CDementia%u201D, right? I would like to know how the patients and Hinata would react to Raisa, at least, from your interpretation.
I%u2019ll send you Gacha art of her since you have mentioned fanart! ^v^
Ooo, I'd love to read more, whenever you post!!
And great question! XD Hmmmm, I imagine Hinata would be the most welcoming, as she has both a maternal sort of aura and a deep curiosity regarding the "atypical" types. Ludovic and Elizabeth would probably be the most wary of her, Lydia would be put off but not flat-out opposed to talking with her (she's got psychopathic/sociopathic leanings, a little like Jason to be honest), Alice and Russet would be uneasy but TRY to be welcoming, aaand Earnest would have his guard up until she asks him to make her a dress or something XD
That also makes me curious...Do you think Raisa would enjoy a stay at Thorneheart Manor, or would the humans make her too nervous?? (00 )
(finally, thanks for sending that art!)

A Warm Welcome
I'm back to review another instillation of Laughing Jack and Jason! I love this story and can't wait to get right into it. I'll start off with things I loved, followed by some light suggestions (if needed!)
Sunny Moments
Okay, this is kind of funny to me. I'm over here feeling bad for these children and Jason's like "Oh, they can't leave." XD Either way, great way to grab my attention! Love the strong start.
Omg! At first, I was thinking 'that's so cute' and then once I read further, my jaw almost dropped. It's not unlike Jason's character to create this sort of gift for Laughing Jack and himself-- but not actually loving the child made me sad >.> Not a bad thing at all though, because it makes this story unique! Making sure the doll actually looks like them is a cute little detail, too.
Great description of Laughing Jack here. I know in previous parts we've gotten great descriptions of each, but it's always good to remind the reader! I also think this tells us a lot about Laughing Jack and Jasons (adorable) relationship, and how Jason adores him-- noticing specific things like Jack's eyes and memorable features. Wonderful job!
Again, another great description. We get more of an idea of what the doll actually looks like by the end-- because you described both Jack and Jason-- and celebrating by going on a killing spree is very disturbing but... again, in character! XD
Heat and Haze
I don't have any major suggestions, but I do wonder why you bolded some lines?
On another note, I would've loved to see the doll come to life and communicate with Jack and Jason-- but maybe that'll be in the next part!
Overall Vibes
Overall, this snippet from Laughing Jack and Jason's story is actually quite adorable yet creepy! The intentions behind creating the doll is sinister and right on point for this storyline! I can't wait to read more, have a wonderful day!
