The walk back home

*This fanfic is underneath my folder titled “Creepypasta stuff”. Gacha Club character designs are under this forum: https://www.youngwriterssociety.com/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=116005&start=1380. The Creepypasta characters used in this fanfic are Jeff the Killer and Homicidal Liu. In this fanfic, they are 13 years old. These characters are canonically twin brothers, except I made Jeff the older twin instead of Liu. You can google them both if you want. This is my take on Jeff’s origin story. Ash is my OC. Oh and an actual Garbage Pail kids card is mentioned in this fic too. The year in this is 2003. Anyway, enjoy!*

“Today wasn’t so bad, Jeff. You made some new friends and-“

“Liu, please stop. You sound like such a Mom.”

The school day had ended. Jeff and Liu were walking back home, Jeff holding the Handy Randy card in one hand, when Liu had suddenly started talking about something incredibly stupid.

“What? I’m just trying to lighten the mood. Not everything has to be all doom and gloom with you.” Liu smiled, softly punching his arm.

“Okay, but did you see how they all looked at me? Like I’m their pet? Didn’t they seem a little too nice? Randy was the weirdest one. I mean, who just writes their phone number on a Garbage Pail Kids card? You know what, now that I think about it, I take that back. Ash was the weirdest one. She wants me to be her boyfriend so bad. How can you stay friends with her?”

As much as a part of Jeff wanted to believe that the other kids had good intentions, a bigger part of him knew how people felt about those who were different, knew what people thought when they saw him, and when he saw the smiles of Liu’s friends, he just couldn’t shake off the feeling that there was something wrong about it.

Liu frowned like he was sorry for him. He was always sorry for him and Jeff was sick of it. Jeff was the older twin! It wasn’t Liu’s job to worry about him because he was younger than Jeff and if Liu worried about him then it was just…just humiliating. Jeff was fine. He could handle things on his own. He liked being alone. Why was that such a hard concept for Liu to understand? For most people to understand?

“I don’t think they meant it that way. I think they just want to be your friend. They’re really nice, you just-“

“What about Ash?”

“Okay, Ash is a piece of work, but she’s not bad. She gets like that with a lot of guys. You’re just the first real guy she’s gotten like this with. She’ll find a fictional character to go crazy over and then you’ll be left alone. There’s no need to worry about it.”

“…You mean she’s treating me like I’m one of her fictional crushes?”

“Well, yes, but she’ll get over it. Don’t go and hold that against her.”

“Whatever.”

They had both made it to their house. Jeff would get his homework done, but not without drawing pictures along the answers. He liked to add whimsy wherever he could.

Whimsy was much needed after the intrusive first day of school that he had.

Good morning creeper 😊
You continue to have the most stories in the Green Room which is why I am here today 😊

Ah I remember this universe; I did like the twins so let’s go~

Jeff and Liu were walking back home,
Hmmm I feel like this entire sentence here is really long. It would work better if you give each concept room to breath. The card that Liu’s holding (what is its meaning for the story f.e.) and why what he says is stupid. It feels very rushed the way it is right now.

Aww I rly like everything abt this paragraph:
“What? I’m just trying to lighten the mood. Not everything has to be all doom and gloom with you.” Liu smiled, softly punching his arm.

And that’s an excellent use of repetition:
Why was that such a hard concept for Liu to understand? For most people to understand?

sometimes i'm like "I should say something quotable to make it into the quote gen" but then I feel bad because quote gen quotes are very spontaneous
