*This fanfic is underneath my folder titled “Creepypasta stuff”. Gacha Club character designs are under my forum titled “My character designs<33[2]”. The main character in question is the OC ship child I made of Laughing Jack (created by Snuffbomb) and Jason the Toymaker (created by Krisantyl). Laughing Jack , a black and white monochromatic evil clown and Jason, a human-appearing creature with long, red hair and golden-brown eyes, are characters in the Creepypasta fandom. With that in mind, I hope you enjoy this short little fanfic!*
Raisa opened the front door tentatively. The human children didn’t know the truth about the abandoned orphanage, and they always wanted to play next to it, just because they didn’t think there was anything within it.
But she never played with human children before. Her parents always wanted to give her doll friends, never alive friends.
The human children turned towards her, their heads like wind-up dolls, and ran right towards her.
Raisa’s heart beat with dread. Why were they so eager to play with her? Why were they so excited to play games with her?
“Why is your hair so long?”
“Can we touch it?”
“Let’s play with her hair!”
The children gripped and tugged at her long, crimson hair. They were all so excited to rip it up, to tear it apart, to twirl it around.
All Raisa wanted to do was play, and they were just greedily snagging at her hair as though it were a toy.
She tried to run, but they all had a grip on a strand of hair.
Humans were so scary, why did they get so automatically excited over things?
In the distance, she heard the melody of “Pop goes the weasel” on an accordion.
Like wind-up dolls, the children let go of her hair and ran towards the music.
Raisa grinned. It was Dad! He was saving her! He was going to give her new friends!
A comforting claw grasped her hand and took her back inside.
She looked up to see her other Dad, with his long, crimson hair and golden-brown eyes smiling down at her.
He led her away as the children were being led further to their fate.
Her parents were right. Humans were too much.

Continuing the saga by getting back into the Raisa arc, and I am enjoying it already!
To start, this definitely fits what I know about Raisa—and in fairness, humans are too much sometimes, right? XD But thankfully, her parents are not callous and evil enough to not care for her, and protect her when they pick on her. Cute!
Once again, no recommendations, although it seems like the photo attachment isn't loading? Maybe it's just my computer being dumb tho.
As for highlights and reactions...
I love how curious she is about humans, yet she's also so shy and afraid of getting too close. It's a cute trait of hers!
Okay, what? This absolutely does sound like something a bunch of rascally kids with NO sense of personal space would do though, so ironically, I can absoluely see this happening in real time XD
Aw! Not only are they helping Raisa, and not only is the "strategy" that led them to make her in the first place technically working, but the way they team up to do it is adorable. LJ like the Pied Piper over there, while Jason creeps about like a cryptid to catch any strays—or in this case, just bring Raisa back to safety.
Overall, cute! We are seeing Raisa truly becoming a part of their little family. Nicely done!
"They who dream by day are cognizant of many things which escape those who dream only by night."
"Words have no power to impress the mind without the exquisite horror of their reality.”
"I would define, in brief, the poetry of words as the rhythmical creation of Beauty."
Yes, Raisa is very curious about humans but afraid of them.
And I didn%u2019t mean to add an image, it must be a glitch.
Hey there! Plume here, with a short little review!
This was a fun little character sketch! Both eerie and sweet. I think you do a really great job of writing from the perspective of a child; it's always so disturbingly naive in the best way possible.
I like the creativity in creating a fanchild; normally, that genre of fanfic isn't my thing, but I think I like it more when I'm not super familiar with any of the characters. I appreciated the descriptions of her parents, since I was able to then pick out the traits that she got from them.
That being said, I think it could have been interesting to turn this into a longer work; right now, it's just a little vignette that illustrates her aversion to humans. I wonder if it could be a good building point for further storytelling; maybe she grows up and turns out to go after children, or maybe she meets a human who changes her perspective! Either way, I feel like there wasn't a lot of plot that happened in this, and would have liked to see a more built-up story.
Overall, though, I think the mini story you did tell was told effectively; it felt like a part of a traumatic backstory in some ways. The comparisons of the children to wind-up dolls since all Raisa knows are dolls was clever, and the spookiness that came when her dad came to her rescue was well timed and executed within the story. Nice work! Until next time!
Thank you for reading. This is only a small part of an otherwise somewhat traumatic backstory. I am working on more details. In the meantime, here are other fanfics that connect to this that I recently made:
Laughing Jack and Aeliana’s trip to the carnival!
Raisa’s diary entry (4/17/1955)
Okay first of all—this fanfic gave me chills in the best way. It’s short, but really immersive. The writing style is simple, but that actually adds to the creepy tone. It’s like a childhood nightmare blended with a bittersweet fairytale.
The opening immediately sets the mood. There’s something so eerie about a child stepping out into a world she doesn’t fully understand, and the way the human kids are described as “wind-up dolls” is just perfectly unsettling. They’re not evil, just… weird and grabby and loud—which, to Raisa, is a kind of horror.
The whole moment with them obsessing over her hair? Bananas. Not just weird-for-the-sake-of-weird, but realistically overwhelming, especially from Raisa’s perspective. The physicality of it, the invasion of her space—it’s relatable, even if she’s not human.
Then the music starts—Pop Goes the Weasel on an accordion—and suddenly the whole vibe shifts. I love that her dads (Laughing Jack and Jason the Toymaker, I assume?) are framed as her protectors, even though they’re objectively the “monsters.” That reversal of roles is what makes this so good. In her world, the humans are the creepy ones. Her dads are her safety.
The final moment, with the clawed hand and Jason guiding her back inside, was strangely wholesome. A little dark, yeah—but Raisa’s smile makes it feel comforting. Her joy, contrasted with the children’s fate, is haunting but satisfying.
This fanfic isn’t about gore or jump scares—it’s about vibe, and it nails it. The tension, the surreal childlike fear, the dark comfort of being part of something other. It’s quiet horror with a personal edge, and I love that.
Omg thank you so much!!! I%u2019m glad you enjoyed this! ^v^
