It is that time of year again; it is (nearly) September, which means it is Review Month on YWS!
If this is your first RevMo, welcome! RevMo focuses on the reviewing side of YWS, from the Green Room, to challenges, pad parties, hashtags, banner contests, and everything in between.
In the coming weeks, there will be many challenges posted in the RevMo forum, which will give you many opportunities to write reviews. All events will be posted here! Here is a quick rundown of what to expect for this month!
The Checklist Challenge
A checklist- based challenge that will allow you to keep track of who and what you are reviewing, and push you a bit out of your comfort zone to explore all areas of YWS! Anyone who completes the checklist will earn a special badge of completion!
The Banner Contest
In the banner contest, users create banners that can be used in reviews throughout RevMo! At the end of the month, votes are cast, and the top three winners get special badges! Everyone who participates also gets a participation badge.
The Review Template Contest
In the review template contest, users make review templates that can be used by other users and themself, similar to the Banner Contest. More info coming soon!
Workshops, hashtags, beautiful badges to earn, and pad parties in the brand-new WFP!
Additionally, anyone who completes Team Tortoise for the month of September (writing at least 1 review per day) will receive a special badge! Here are the badges, below, made by the amazing @Wolfi!
Lastly, throughout the month of September, you can unlock special username colours based on how many reviews you write. These will be updated once a week based on how many you have written in total, up to that point in the month. Anyone who writes 50 reviews can choose any of these 4 username colours to keep for two weeks into October!
10 Reviews - Tulip Pink
20 Reviews - Rose Red
30 Reviews - Marigold Orange
50 Reviews - Sunflower Gold

The use of AI to write reviews will not be tolerated and will result in disqualification and the removal of any AI-written reviews. Before RevMo begins, please familiarize yourself with the YWS definitions of Review Spam so you can avoid it! All writers deserve real, thoughtful, human feedback on their works.
