This poem was very different and very weird. I liked it a lot-the style is really impressive. The last line was thoughtful and it concluded the poem wonderfully.

hey...I am absolutely AWFUL at critiques, due to lack of experience, really, but I'll try:

you gave me nightmares about those emerald eyes: [that's pretty much adorable]
submerged in saturday-night delights, singing
songs I never wanted to hear, filthy
with the thought of seduction. [haha]

in the crush of the crowd, hands find hands,
partners find partners and you found me
trembling at your expected touch, shivering
to the vibrations of the music. [really cute, I especially like the use of the work "trembling"...audience can really relate]

we were never sketched in drawings
or painted in conjunction, never traded
glances or numbers, but tonight; [i like that part]
fate is drunk and irony is taking advantage. [brilliant]

Hah. I was going to attempt an actual critique but it was too amazing to pick at, so this just ended up as me gushing...as usual. :P great poem

I agree with Muse.

I know you don't like people comparing a single piece to others, but this really is your style, I think. You work so well with it, and you always create amazing poems. Bravo.

Goodness sake. Amazing, as usual. *kicks* It reads as smooth as silk...yum.
Love the title, by the way. :D
