Just tell me how to tell you.
I adore holding you hand,
your long spindly piano playing fingers
entertwined with my short stumpy ones.
I long to wake up next to your face.
To fall into the evergreen of your eyes;
lost in a rainforest of sunburst beauty.
I dream of you holding me.
The bicep of you arm contracting as you sleep
sending short sweet jabs into my own;
as rythmic as a heart beat but less generic.
I want our tooth brushes sat in the same ceramic pot,
I want to change my dull last name to your exciting one.
I want to dance with you to a slow song;
each heartbeat with you cements the holes from before.
I want you to love my quirks..
I remember you asking why my pillow corners were frayed,
and when I told you I squeeze them in my sleep
you told me I was beautiful.
Now we sit in this cafe;
the hustle and bustle of the world passes by
but I cling to the syllables that leave your
pink and perfect lips.
I want to say I love you;
I'm scared you're going to say goodbye.

Hello, disco child!
I know what you're trying to do, but perhaps you could do it in a more subtle fashion. The line, like the words, is kind of awkward. Find a different way to describe your own fingers.I think this is one of the best poems I've seen from you. I love that the feeling is genuine and in the moment. It's really what poetry is all about!
That being said, there are a few things I'd like to address in this poem (I'm not going to address typos, as you are able to find those yourself by going through the poem carefully (also, they've already been addressed ^_^)).
You have great little images thrown in throughout the poem that make me feel like I'm in the moment. I love the line about the toothbrushes, and I love the sunburst rainforest line. Some of the other lines, though, don't hold as much beauty or interest.
You can easily combine these two lines to streamline the poem. Try this: "I long to wake up falling into your evergreen eyes." That's much more elegant than having a boring statement followed by beauty.
Again, incorporate the first line of this passage with another line to keep momentum. Also, I don't understand how a bicep can send jabs into another. Make sure you clarify that in your edits.
I don't understand why you used generic here. I don't think a heartbeat can be classified as brand name or generic. Unless, you know, it's a fake heart, and it was made by a big name medical company or Costco. But anyway, I suggest you find something else to compare the pulsing to. A heartbeat is another part of the body. Think outside the body. What is steady? A dripping faucet. Waves breaking on the shore. There are plenty of things.
This line has no life. Give us detail. Not too much, but dull and exciting are rather boring words. I might write it like this: "My last name longs for the exotic scents that linger in yours" or something like that. Make his last name something desirable.
In this case, I want way more detail. You don't have to give us the name of the song, but you can describe it. Is it a piano sonata? A slow waltz? A rock ballad? Give us something. A slow song gives us the dance, but it does not give us the feeling with the dance. If I'm slow dancing with someone to a rock ballad like Aerosmith's "Don't Wanna Miss a Thing," the mood is completely different from if I was slow dancing to "Fade To Black" by Dire Straits.
While this might be something the narrator wants, I don't think it fits here. I'd omit it.
I love this line, but I think that it would sound better if you said "You asked why" because it's far more direct.
"hustle and bustle" is a phrase that I have heard far too often. Change it so this overused phrase doesn't have a home in another good poem.
"Perfect" isn't a very good word to describe something, as perfection to each person is different. Describe his lips without using this word.
I really like the end of your poem. You obviously always think about how you're going to end your poetry. I'm glad you posted this, and that I got to read it. I hope this review proves useful to you! Happy writing!
Hey !

This was nice. And adorable. If I got this poem from my significant other for some reason, I would be like "Oh my gosh, awww."
On a serious note, I only noticed 2 or so things wrong such as:
1. 'you' in the first stanza should be 'your' ( as previously stated )
2. 'entertwined' in the first stanza should be ' intertwined'
But, other than that, I saw nothing in particular that was wrong. It is a beautiful poem & I will definitely read more of your work.
I apologize if this is not very informative or helpful for this is my very first review since registering on this site...so yeah. Keep writing
hey retro wassup? ok I know I havnt reviewed one of ur poems before but I just never got a chance to. (trust me I love ur writing and I read ur poems anytime I can :3) ok I only have 1 nitpick: in the first and second stanza, u said 'you' instead of 'your'.
example: "I adore holding you hand..." it should be 'your'
other than that I have no problems. spelling is great, as well as grammar. and I loved that last stanza. it what happens almost everyday: someone just wanting to say 'I love u' but they are scared of their gf/bf leaving them.
continue with ur work!
