What little he could feel was on his face
Er. That sounds odd. "He could feel his face" or "What little he could feel was his face" or don't change it at all, but it sounds weird.

increasingly burning sensation

You don't know how gross all those words look together...

His hairs raised on the back of his neck as the metal table he was laying on touched his freshly woken skin.
lying (I can't believe I caught that...)

barely opened his eyes.
you can't barely do anything, you either do or don't. But I think this annoys me more because its "finally, barely" and that sounds odd.

tight around his wrist.
plural, isn't it? Wrists.

He came to a T-branch stood idly, waiting for it again.
I think you can see what is wrong for yourself in that one.

"I slave to God,"
is that supposed to be I swear to God?

That was fun to read ^_^

I can so see this as a movie! Of course nothing would be able to beat the book, the book (speaking for the near future :) ) is going to be MUCH better. Lol, I'll speak for the now.

He strained to hear a whisper--anything--over the sound of his bare feet thwacking against the linoleum floor

*Yay thwacking!

I'm really scared for Jon and of course I have many many many questions about this whole thing. I'm trying to keep hold of clues so that maybe I can make guesses Lol.

I REALLY can't wait to read the next, Great Job!

Okay, so I skipped a few chapters (twelve or thirteen, actually) but this was right there, on the YWS homepage, and I liked the first line, so I read the second, and then I decided I liked the description of this chapter much better than of previous chapters. In all, I ended up just as confused as Jon, but that's okay. (I believe there was a compliment thrown in there somewhere  )
