E - Everyone

In poetry

If only I had a penny for every time I kissed my pillow

pretending it was you

If only I had a nickel for every time I pressed my hand to the wall

thinking you were on the other side

If only I had a dime for every time I thought

of your beautiful face

If only I had a quarter for every time I dreamt

of seeing you

If only I had a dollar for every time I screamed I love you

hoping you'd hear it

Then I'd  be rich

and you'd be here .

I feel like this is long distance relationship related.
I had many relationships like the one you had explained. It is really sad and emotional, when you can not touch the one who are loving so much. I like the beginning a lot. Maybe I just like the 'If I only' starting, even if I usually do not like the repeatment of the same words/word at the beginning of each sentence.
The last lines shows how much money is important when we are in such a relationship state. The money, unfortunately, helps a lot, to meet your love, live with them. This just reminds me, how many people can not meet their lvoe because of such a problem. Before I make this review full of complaining and realistic thoughts, I want to say good job and keep on writing, amazing person.

Hey hey!

So first off, wow! And second of all, great poem! I really loved the concept of this poem and I loved the idea and detailing that went into it. Although some people might think of it as cliche I think you added enough pazazz to make it your own.

I have a friend who is in a long distance relationship and I cannot tell to how many times she has come to me saying a whole bunch of things like this. Long distance relationships are hard. Sure, you can text and call and Skype... But the physical presence lacks and that makes it really hard. So if this poem is coming from experience, I really hope everything works about and that you guys can see each other soon!

Your story you told through this poem was pretty captivating and I sure hit some people at thier core and made then think about that someone that is five thousand miles away, waiting for them. I thin that this is a great poem forcthosexwho are struggling with keeping thier long distance relationship going by showing them that not all hope is gone.

Your actual poem was great in size and also easy to read be ause of the fluency in line structure and overall looks of the poem. The formatting was on the money! I absolutely loved this poem and I liked how relays ke and helpful it can be to couples around the world in long distance relationships! You have insane talent and I hope up never stop writing and inspiring others.

Stay classy and write on!

Hey there speakerskat,
I really enjoyed this piece.
I like the escalation, and I like the way you broke up each sentence.
I also thought the formatting for the piece was well decided upon (the double spacing). It helped with dramatic effect.
I find that every once and a while, a dash, comma, or semicolon is also good for dramatic effect in a poem, but really its all about author's preference, so just keep doing what you're doing if that's how you like it.
It was also a very touching piece over all. I like your word choice very much, and the way you took "if i had a...", a classic saying, and turned it into this.
Keep writing.

Hey there speaker, wearing sneakers? wanna eat snickers?

XD

Whatever, my name's not Albert Einstein and I'm here with a review!

I liked your poetry! It's sweet! Simple, short and sweet! I like the way it looks. It'd look more like a inverted pyramid if you wanted it to! Yes, because, our structure, the way we want something to look like often in our hands. Except for those horrendous looking cakes I bake! Ha! Now, uh... your uses of capitalisation somewhere makes me uncomfortable. Doesn't create much harm though. Now, it's a great one. Right at this moment, nothing I can find to suggest you. But, yes, you can take a look and think about your punctuation using and that? That's kinda bugging me.

Ah Okay, taking off right now. Will get loads more outstandinger stuff from you; with this wish, leaving for now.

Punctuation is a stylistic choice ... And my punctuation is fine

Didn't mean to be offensive :) never mind.
