I think I feel it, like a love bird dove. That thing they call true love.
It fills my heart, it makes me smile, I'm flying from above.

Hello, happy review day!

I love how within two lines, you create such beautiful meaning. Whilst it's so short, it's so long. You create a story of a how the blossoming true love makes the very core within you flutter.
I think I feel it
The idea that you think you feel it and you don't know it makes it all the more significant for the reader. You talk of unexpectedly falling in love and the feeling that you get with it. When someone knows they are in love, the feeling is a completely different, expected experience for both the speaker and the reader.
Like a love bird dove
This is a beautiful way of describing the fluttery feeling we all receive when one starts to fall for the one. Using dove imagery enhances the idea of love as that is the stereotypical bird people place with this emotion.
You then talk about true love as a feeling that makes you fly inside. This relates back to the dove idea-linking the whole poem.
Only nitpick: That thing *they call true love.
A beautiful short piece of poetry!
That's all from me,

Hi Secrete! I like this! It's short and fuzzy and sweet. But being the *clears throat* Nazi I am, I'll hasten to point out that you have a typo in the first line. "the" should be "they." But the rhyming seems forced. Hey, I know it's a couplet, it's supposed to rhyme, but you could go for something a little more...subtle. Also, when you use "love" twice in the first line, the effect sort of wears away. You could try for "free-flying dove" instead of "love-bird dove" or something. And I think you should use this couplet-writing as an excuse to use large vocabulary and longish words so there's more of a rhythm.
Anyway, I hope this helped! So keep writing! Keep flying!

Hi SecreteJournalist! This is very good!
It's quite short, but it does describe love perfectly! I enjoyed reading your poem. Other than making it a little bit longer, I would humbly suggest more description and a larger vocabulary! Like I said, very good!
I would love to make it longer, but I'm testing out differnt poem types. Thanks for the review
I hope I didn't sound too pessimistic... It's a really beautiful poem!
Any time!
Nah, its okay, didn't sound much pessimistic at all c:
Oh good!
hello Secrete! I Enjoyed myself reading this Poem... I see all the emotion that went into this. I myself, would not have put ''It lifts me up from down to above.'' i would have put something like: "It Fills me up from toe to head", just simply because it was a little Awkward to say. Hope this helps!
Thanks for the review
Np!!
