(Boy’s view on V-Day)
(Dedicated to Silent Aviator)
Valentines should go to hell
Here's a story I will tell
I don't care if it's first rate:
I can never get a date
There’s this girl, she acts real sappy
For a boy to make her happy
But when it comes to old me
She’d prefer sad tears from glee
I bring cards and gifts galore
Yet nothing seems to please this whore
She doesn’t want what gifts I bring
Not even that ruby ring!
What do they have that I don’t got?
It’s Valentines Day onslaught!
Take your girl, take your kill
And be sure to pay her bill!
----Merry V-Day To All! (....Where's my chocolate?)

Thanks for pointing that out lady dark. It originally stared out with a whole bunch of girls (all in general "said" person knows) but I changed it.... S's make the world worlds! Hahaha!

hahaha, niiice... such a true guys version... though I wouldn't know ^-^'', last time I checked I'm not a guy, and 'sides... never had a guy to share valentines with... yet
, but yesh, nice, beautiful, stunning... go TBR xD
PS- wouldn't it be... there is this girl, she..... not girls? girl ??????
LOL, nice. Good rhyming and what, although "Here's a story I will tell" sounded like a forced rhyme, and is pretty cliche IMO. Also, you need to pay attention to meter as well as rhyme--you had an equal amount of syllables, but not in all of them. It kinda has that same effect as "Roses are red, violets are blue, some poems rhyme, and some don't."
Also, wouldn't it be "prefers sad tears to glee"? "Sad tears from glee," indicates that she's so gleeful that she's shedding tears of sadness, which makes no sense.
And it's Valentine's Day.
