Hey, Morgan, I don't know if you even remember this, it was a couple days before my birthday.... Third Place in TYWC Poetry Contest... hehe. If you're mad that I put it here then I'll give the other half of the points you got from me... And I didn't even remember that it rhymed... that can effect things... but... read!

A broken heart, have I, have I
And broken tears, they follow
Upon this slate, so very great
The pain will always linger
Alas I bass with the sun
No more joyous, couple fun
Forever in your debt
For giving me the joy
Forever as your enemy
From stripping me of it
The sun and the moon
Glow bright in the night
Our love will forever fade
A broken heart have I

A great poem in which shows rhyming can work.
I know I'm replying to this forever and a half later, but yes! I totally forgot about this..wow, this was back in the TYWC days. We've come such a long way.
This is one I haven't seen before, You normally don't rhyme in poems but, then again..I would rate this a 3 1/2 out of 5...
