Like a Good Girlfriend

In Poetry

Like a good girlfriend
I sit here and do nothing
While you don't talk to me
because you have chores to do

Like a good girlfriend,
I say I love you and apologize
While you say "It's OK,"
And never seem to say no more

Like a good girlfriend,
I would do anything for you
I would take a bullet for you
And would take your pain away

If I was gone would you cry?
Like a good girlfriend,
I don't question you
I am afriad of your answers

Like a good girlfriend
I don't ask why you will ignore me
Just to talk to her
Kind, sweet, loveable her,
Maybe I fear the answer

But just know,
Like a good girlfriend,
I care.

---DEDICATED TO GREG AND JANE----

Just know how I feel....

Really good. Those first two lines could use work.

Thank you for it...
Yeah I could have done metter on those two lines, Jojo, but I just didn't know what to use to make it flow with the lingo of the po-po... poem...

The mindset of perhaps an impossibly good girlfriend perfectly and clearly put.
But,
I sit here and do nothing
About any and everything
Don't you think this could be a bit better put to carry the meaning more explicitly?
Otherwise, it was so clear and heartfelt that I couldn't find a single fault with it( I am in 'love-for-criticism mood  ).

This made me sad...

It's easily understandable and straight-to-the-point. Good job.

I liked this one. I thought it got it's message across very clearly, Well Done :)
