Tea has fixed me

After playing poetree games tonight-- this is the result! Enjoy ;) We had to take lines from other people's poems and turn them into another poem, so that's why it's a little... Insane. For fun guys! :D

Gears turn as the earth shifts and counts the days like an abacus,
The clocks on the wall tell me I need to oil my power ranger.
But the robot I’ve been has been replaced by a flower, the tea has fixed me.
(I won’t be doing anything productive today.)
The tea felt slick going down my throat
coated in dew, scraps of metal overgrown with moss, like leaves.
It’s not sweet enough.

Everywhere I look I see faces in the plants,
(even though I should be looking towards my work, my fingers are trying to type without a keyboard.)
Black ink stained my paper when you came back.
I face-planted against my desk, because oil provides a range of powers,
but this is not one of them.

slick beads shifting on a broken table next to the remains of a broken tea set.
The tea has fixed me.

First off, I thought I should congradulate you on writing one of those poems that you have to re-read to fully wrap your head around.
*re-reads 3 times*

Okay, here's how I interpreted it:

It's about time passing by repressented by the tea. And how it's fixed you, but it's broken old habits, and the transition feels like it's breaking you. (not sure if I'm right or not).

Anyway, I have to say I really like this piece! Your conventions all check out, and your imagery and metaphorical wording is spectacular!

Favourite part-

Keep writing!

I am here to review this short but awesome poem for you today!

My name is Omniyus, and I will be reviewing this fine piece for you today! So without any more hinderance from this weird brain of mine I will start reviewing this work!

I realize this is for fun and somewhat insane, as you say, so I will not make any "This is horrible, get rid of it!" So I will just tell you what I think of this on your attempt at poetreeing :D

This is so funny of a line, I am pretty sure that these lines, apart, would have been serious, but now, this is awesome! I love it!

Ah, this is a great piece of work. Putting a whole bunch of other lines into one poem is extremely difficult, but this is a great example of it! Great job!

I know this didn't help you much, but I'm pretty sure I couldn't help you with this,
Omniyus

Why should Caesar just get to stomp around like a giant while the rest of us try not to get smushed under his big feet? Brutus is just as cute as Caesar, right? Brutus is just as smart as Caesar, people totally like Brutus just as much as they like Caesar, and when did it become okay for one person to be the boss of everybody because that's not what Rome is about! We should totally just stab Caesar!
