Just a good ole' country song
Yes, all these things are true

Thanks
Verse 1:
There is a place where I like to go,
to let those thoughts out.
There is place where I like to sit,
and think it all out.
I don’t got no one to see me through
So I just go and sit by that old creek.
I drive over there in my chevy truck,
got the windows rolled down
and the radio up.
It’ ain’t fair that I gotta go through all this
Just to see
the light
Chorus:
Oh- oh
I go there when I need someone
I go there I need some peace
I go there I go there to
see
to see what I couldn’t see before
I can’t seem to think about it
It’s all a blur
and if you can’t be the one.
I’m needing you now.
Verse 2:
But I just sit by myself in my old chevy truck
and think to myself,
hey ain’t this the life.
The windows rolled down and the sun in
The cool mountain breeze
blowing through my hair
and it doesn’t seem to matter
what anyone says
Cause I really know
What I’ve got waiting up there.
I drive over there in my chevy truck,
got the windows rolled down
and the radio up.
CHORUS
Bridge:
If life could stay this way,
never changing like a flowing creek,
nestled between those mossy banks.
I could skim rocks
and watch world pass by.
CHORUS
Ending:
I drive over there in my chevy truck,
got the windows rolled down
and the radio up.

I love this song and the song I linked up there. They both make me smile and remind me to take life easy! (I kinda need that right now). I don't know if you know the song but I thought it was appropriate and beautiful.
ANNA-SPARK! Keep writing! <3
Great song. If your trying to publish this song it might be hard, I have learned from several publishers for my books that now of days they are looking for something new. I learned this the hard way by my first book not being good enough but the second one has great potential. I love the song do not get me wrong but it sounds a lot like other country songs. I can tell you are a great writer and you will do great.
I love country songs. All about a Chevy truck, a radio and enjoying the drive. I'm imagining a number of singers trying to sing it, though I'm indecisive over the tune so I'll just keep imagining how it should be
. I don't have any nit-picks and it's good the way it is! All you need to do now is grab a guitar and sing.

I really enjoyed this piece. Keep the ink flowing.
