A canvas of faded blue and orange bold,
Mirrored in the lapping waters of pure gold.
Patches of evening clouds speckled way up high,
Tainted brilliant pink while a breeze sails by.
Brushing me with silken fingers, it sighs
As it slowly fades into the painted skies.
Finally the burning sun kisses the crimson sea,
Sending a burst of copper over the clouds and me.
The sky shines in the last of the flaming light,
The clouds like dying coals in the advancing night.
And as the first silver star shimmers into place,
I see the last of the sun's golden face.

I absolutely love the description in this poem. Very beautifully arranged!
Hi, here with a review! First of all, I really liked your description because it has strong imagery and I could really imagine this happening. Also, I really liked the personification you've used "finally the burning sun kisses the crimson sea". I also love how you've ended it, it seems to kind of "fade out". Over all, well done, I really enjoyed it and keep writing!
Lovely poetry. I really like the bit that goes 'finally the burning sun kisses the crimson sea'. Some lovely metaphors. It's a really nice poem that paints beautiful pictures in my mind.I can not really see any thing that i would change. Absolutely brilliant.I don't write all that poetry myself but this one is a real gem.If you write any more ones like this (or you have written) please comment on my page so i can read them. Thanks!
