Set on a table cloth of blue,
A dish of polished silver,
With gleaming stars around you.
Glowing
in the night sky,
You are the luminous full moon,
Hanging on a canvas way up high.
~~~
Prowling the forest’s night,
A grey wolf with a heart of fire,
His fur shining in the milky light.
Staring
up at the silver moon,
He lifts his head and howls,
Singing his lonely tune.
~~~
The night fades and the light returns,
The shining moon sinks and is no more,
And the wolf retreats back to the forests ferns.

Hey there,
That work of your...it's really cool! And hey I'm considering it as a werewolf cauz it just makes it all the more fun! Silver and w-wolfs have a long history and seems appropriate fir your description.
I like the way you describe the wolf with a heart of fire- smart choice of words there.
Another fascinating thing about your poem is the way you end it.
Remarkable work! Keep on sharing more and more of it and do pm me when you publish one! I'll be waiting for it.
Love,
Fangirl~
P.s.- that picture you put there is awesome!
AMAZING!!!!
I really love the words you used to describe the wolf!
Your poetry really flows.. I suggest that you keep writing you are amazing and I honestly think that writing in general will change your life, for it has changed mine...
Overall it is great and I truly think that your title suits your poem very well
AMAZING
The poem has a sort of feel to it, an aura and trust me that is a good thing!
It's a bit short, and each section sort of feels like it left you hanging. But in all, it was amazing, the imagery was written so well in such a small space. The polished silver stanza was so original. I think that if this was just a bit longer then this would truly have been a masterpiece.
I would rate it:
9/10
(Amazing!)
I'm terrible at reviewing poems, so I'll just leave a comment. xD
The words you used were gorgeous and I think only added to the grace and elegance I associate with wolves.

This was lovely. Like seriously. I'm a huge fan of wolves, they've been my favorite animal since almost forever. I think you described the wolf in this virtually flawlessly.
The title should definitely be Polished Silver and for this reason: Both Call of the Wolf and Howling at the Moon are rather generic and have undoubtedly been used countless times before. Frankly and honestly, they're just plain unmemorable. But Polished Silver, I think, is extremely unique. You're the author, though. Whatever you decide.
Thanks for the comment.

I have changed the title.
