This is the tale of a princess.
She was the prettiest thing you would ever see.
No pearl necklace or silk dress,
just herself was all she would need.
Many fell under her charm
though no words of hers were ever spoken.
No one dared to do her harm,
for fear their hearts would be broken.
One day, her power was lost.
A disdainful look was thrown her way.
Soon her tale was long forgot
and her grace began to fade.
But now I revive her story to you,
and may it live on through time.
Remember the forgotten Muse,
because Love is a princess that never dies.

love it! it's brief and descriptive at the same time and I love that about poetry. I really understood it and it grab my attention straight away. I love the use of words and it made me smile!. it's just very well done and I hope you keep this up. Great Work loved everything about it.
Hello Art,
I'm here to give your work a dumb review (Because I don't do the other ones! :3 ) First of all, I need to appreciate what you've written there ^^ it's sweet and it reminded me of all the princesses I've come across in all these years! I mean through the stories of course! xD
Now, to the main thing- your poetry, I like the starting. Many would say it's cliché. But, I definitely don't think that.
It made me think somehow otherwise than a sweet princess. It felt as though she was a witch with some alluring, bewitching powers and all that.
Little puzzling for me. Why should the princess be like Ralph (From Wreck it Ralph) and break hearts of people who intend or do hurt her? And, even if she does so, how? That's the question here and I hoped you'd answer that.
Suddenly, why her power was lost? And, only because of that, why should everyone start hating her at once? Because they used to love her, right? Or, was it fear? For any cause? I'm not sure. '_'
This is how your poem ends but I do believe there should have been more! It gives me some incomplete feeling. But, all in all, if what I think your message is, is actually your message, then, it's commendable!
You've got a good structure and nice use of punctuation as well. ^^
It was a great read for me. Thank you. Keep writing and don't forget to be exceptional!

If anyone did harm to Love (as mentioned) then their hearts would be broken, as so many pop singers write about. XD
O.o I mean, oh!
Haha.
Hello Artemis on this fantabulous review day!
I really like the concept you display in this poem! It's very true, how love is very wonderful and princess-like, and yet, people still take advantage of it and destroy it. I like the rhyme scheme, it flows very well and doesnt seem forced which is good. There were a couple lines without punctuation, I'm not sure if that was meant to happen or if you just missed it. Either way, this poem was extremely good and I look forward to reading more of your works! Keep writing!
I absolutely adored this poem...first, I commend you on the whole rhyming. As you know, poetry doesn't have to rhyme but the fact that you decided to do it this way gave your poem an instant flow that you kept consistent all the way through. Really nice job with that. Second, I like the way you spaced out your lines. Usually, I recommend stanzas and all that other great poem stuff but I think this is perfect. Nice judgement with the structure of your poem. Now to the more content-Y stuff.... I loveeee the story telling. I think it makes for a great poem. Of course it's fine to have a poem that's more about a general topic or thing or something like that but I think the fact that you told a little mini story was great. I enjoyed that. I also like the fairytale feel of it. And best of all, you gave it that vibe without making it childish which can be hard. I also liked that it changed. You started off on this magical positive vibe and then it got a little dark and then you ended it off pretty good again. That was cool. I also loved the way you revealed your subject to be love at the end. That was great and the fact that you did go with love completely turned this poem on its head in the absolute best way. I'm not a great reviewer but just know I loved this poem. Nice work
Thanks a lot! And wow, that's a lot of praise. XD
