[Intro Music]

[Starts with faint heartbeat, grow louder.

Another heartbeat, grow louder.

Merge together & grow faster.

(Short trap beat, song starts)]

[Verse I]

Alone at night – it's rainin',

No sound, no light – it's drainin'.

Call me mad, call me sad,

But my lads, I'm painin'.

Then.

One day.

[Verse II]

In a choleric mood, so hollow I stood,

When I saw you pass by 'fore asking me why --

I stood as I cried, begging to die;

Then embracing me good, you understood

And said, "I'm here, it's alright."

[Bridge I]

Before I found you,

Before you found me,

I had:

[Chorus I]

Nothing to live for, nothing to die for,

Nothing to smile for, nothing to cry for,

Nothing to lie for, nothing to vie for -

Love. X 3

[Bridge II]

Now that I've found you,

Now that you've found me,

I have:

[Chorus II]

You to live for, you to die for,

You to smile for, you to cry for –

You to lie for, you to vie for –

Love. X 3

[Chorus III]

(Chorus I and Chorus II together polyphonically)

[End]

Hi! I love this piece! You have great rhythm and sweet word choice, and it really made me feel like listening to a song - I was nodding and my feet were tapping according to your rhyme! You said you produced this during a chemistry lesson, which is so similar to me - my mind wandering around when I'm so bored.
Anyways, GREAT work!

Hi @TheRebel2007 ~
Love the lyrics! Though I won't be able to listen to the song how you imagined- it's still beautiful. The lyrics feel like their are saying the artist found their muse to latch on to survive ^^

Just wanted to ask, does the line in the [Bridge II] say "Now that you've found you"?

Anyways, loved your work >.<

Thanks for the comment! Also, yes, thanks for pointing that out - I somehow made that weird typo. Just changed it!

You're welcome! You are really inspiring <",
