So, uh, my friend challenged me to make a Bengali version of 革命道中 (On The Way) by AiNA THE END, the opening song for Dandadan Season 2 and I told him, I would do one better and make one in Classical Latin that can be sung! So here it is! If any of you know Classical Latin elision and scansion rules, you can try to match it with the song or wait till me and my friend make an edit and upload it to YouTube. It will be peak, trust me.
Hello there, human! I'm reviewing using the YWS S'more Method today!
Shalt we commence with the morbid S’more?
Top Graham Cracker - This is a Latin version of the Dandadan theme song! (I have not seen it but my brother has). But I’m still intrigued, so I shall read on!
Slightly Burnt Marshmallow - I have no recommendations to make as of right now, but if you would like to edit this, you may.
Chocolate Bar - I find Latin to be a fascinating language that I wish was still used to today and reading this, I like how the Latin flows, just like the original, which brings in the heart-racing adrenaline.
Closing Graham Cracker - Overall, a lovely Latin translation of this theme song! I have enjoyed reading this and I might take time to read some of your other works. And now…
I wish you an amazing day/night! ^v^
Sorry rebel, I took French instead of Latin, so I’ll be doing the English one only XD
Ohh I find the line abt treason super intriguing, especially in combination with the fact that apparently they are doing this bc they are so fascinated by someone!
Also “soul-rendering” is a cool word to follow up on the previous line~
I’m not sure what you mean by this:
Nice translation. I don’t know the original but I feel like your lyrics do get the blood pumping :3
PS: Hope you’re feeling better!
PPS: I heard good things abt this anime, how do you feel abt it?
