I am tired...
Not of life, mind you,
Not of the crazy carousel careening around the capering caskets of cockiness,
Not of the numbing and naked break-neck bake-shake of shapes and sizes,
Not of the antediluvian annals of amorphous anecdotes annotating the Ark...
I am just tired because I am human.

If I weren't tired, I wouldn't be human.
If I weren't tired, these words I type for friends and strangers wouldn't mean anything --
But even if it doesn't... that doesn't make me any less human.

What is human?
it's not that being tired makes you human,
It's because you are human that you get tired
And I get tired.

Be human.
Laugh.
Smile.
Sob.
Weep.

Fart in a place no one would judge you,
Find a home that isn't a place or view,
Flap your hands trying flying in vain,
Force hell and earth to fall to heaven.

Be human.
Be human.
Be human.

Between living and dreaming there is a third thing. Guess it.
