They say that the loneliest people,
cry the most tears and that
those tears are what makes them stronger.
They say that the kindest people,
have suffered the most in their lives, and that
those experiences makes them who they are.
I say that people who have seen too much of the world,
have the most to become stronger and kinder with.
They have seen the worst but also the best of humanity.
The fact is,
everyone no matter what they have face-
are able to become stronger and kinder.
Focus on the path of life,
with the force of humanity behind you.
Without the backbone of humanity,
what are we truly?

Hello CapitalMonday here for a review. I would like to begin how this filled me with emotion and made me feel happy (or better yet make me think about my life for a second) thank you. Also the message of this could be felt by everyone that needs to feel helpful or needs to be known (or something).
A poem can either have an improvements or a poem can have no mistakes and cannot be describe, since the messages inside on the poem could only be read within the lines. However, this poem, has one nitpick- and it is the one KatyaElefant- pointed out where you should have put an -d at the end of everyone no matter what they have to face- since it would sound more smoothed out and rhymed also maybe out a comma there so it reads everyone, no matter what they have to faced.
This poem also reminds me of my times as something like a thinker or maybe a changer but anyway, i am sure that people could feel the same way since we could have been thinking about changing the world but when we want to change the world, the world pushes the idea to the side and choices the better idea. Also how (i think) you can be the light in the darkness of your imagination.
Farewell,
CapitalMonday
This poem is beautiful. I love it so much. It speaks to my heart. There once was a saying, "Without darkness, we would know no light." This poem shows the theme very well.
For nitpick, I may say that that at the part where you say "everyone no matter what they have face-", there should be a d, where the dash is. If you put the dash there for effects, it doesn't work there very well. Also there should be a comma after everyone. I think that you can elaborate, a little more on the part about the kindest people. You could say(in a better fashion than me) that they suffer through more than they help.
Also, at the part where it says, "Focus on the path of life, with the force of humanity behind you." I feel it needs something after that too. You could say that the force of humanity, brings you all the way, ect.
I love this poem. Be sure to make more and have theme with different themes. Try all the different types of styles and again keep writing.
I really enjoyed that. It is true that experiences, both good and bad, make a person stronger. If only more people could realize that as well as you put it. The summary is truly perfect and sums it up in few but meaningful words.

Hey, I'm Weymouth and I'm going to review this because i love it
Keep writing!!!!
Firstly, the first stanza completely blew me away! Simply because I completely agree with that statement, I can relate to it so much, loneliness will completely destroy you unless you're strong enough to fend it off.
Secondly, the second stanza just made me go WOW. I don't know if these are sentences that you've come up with or if they are famous quotes, but I really don't care, they are perfect
I have nothing to nitpick, this is absolutely brilliant
Hi there, GreenTulip!
Here is my honest opinon. It's filled with good intentions.
I don't know if I would call this a poem as much as a bunch of statements put together with a question at the end. If you didn't break this up into lines, and provided a little factual evidence, honestly, it would make an essay. So to me, this is the outline for an essay.
What you need to do to make this into a poem is add imagery and rhythm. You could add one or the other, really. Many slam poets don't have nearly as much imagery as they have rhythm, so you can add one or the other, or a little of one and a lot of the other, and vice versa.
Show, don't tell. There is no show in this whole piece. You're telling (sometimes telling us to do something), and poetry is about showing. Here, it would be wise to instead of telling us all of this, creating a character (that these things apply to) and writing it from their point of view, or about the character. An example is much easier to follow than nothing but abstract.
Avoid using pronouns when there is nothing for the pronoun to link to. In other words, who is "they"? The coalition of ice-cream truck janitors? The bananas of Seville? The Justice League? Don't say "they" to generalize. Be specific.
Honestly, though, I think this would make a better short story than a poem. Create a character that has been through a lot, and show how she overcomes these things. A poem is really difficult to get across a message like this while remaining a good poem, and not preachy.
The things in red should be inserted in that line.
The last two stanzas seem odd to me. If the person has suffered a lot from humanity themselves, they can't just simply trust humanity to push them along on the path of life (which, now that I think of it, is a cliche (path of life)). If humanity has made them suffer so much, what makes you think that that person will want to continue living with humanity, or even living? You introduce a new idea right at the end. What is the backbone of humanity? You don't define that in the poem. It makes no sense here. I don't understand what has to do with the whole poem, anyway. The end of the poem needs to focus on the ideas in the poem, not ask questions out of left field.
Anyway, my suggestion is to change this into a short story rather than a poem, in order to properly convey what you are trying to say here.
I hope this review was helpful to you. Have a nice day.
