Cold is the deadly knife-
that was plunged into the beating heart of thy enemy.
The blood of thy enemy now lay on your hands.
The pale white skin, stained-
stained with a pure scarlet color.
The blade of the knife, still buried so deep in thy heart.
An ice-cold kill with an equally ice-cold heart.
A once-beating heart of life, now lays stone-cold and still.
A cold knife, is a deadly knife, that is held
in an icy-cold hand, with a harsh mindset behind,
the plunge of the knife into the warmth of the heart.

Really great imagery. I really enjoyed the subtle details of the thy's it helps paints a picture of the olden days where people faced their enemies. Your imagery is really good and helps to your advantage make your poem that much better I believe. My favorite line though was, " A once-beating heart of life, now lays stone-cold and still. " because your imagery was spot on and made the line awesome. Definitely disturbing yet interesting. Overall, really well done and keep it up.

This was really a great image for me, i loved the detail and how you didn't go overboard with it. The way everything was phrased was perfect and gave way to great visuals, disturbing enough to feed my interest >:) Also I love how it wasn't so long that it makes your interest plummet, but instead it made it rise so that was great too. I love these disturbing poems, I love how deep they go and I don't know how you were able to come up with this, but I'm glad you did, it was thrilling and suspenseful. This was one of the best poems I've read and that says a lot so keep it up!! I rate 9.9/10
Hey GreenTulip, Strange here and I have a quick review for you!
The points I would like to point out that I like
The simplicity is well done. You didn't go into too much detail.
The whole idea of Death. I like death.
The idea of murder. I like murder.
The imagery is fantastic. You used it to the edge. You didn't go under, but you didn't go over. You just landed there, perfectly.
I would like to point out murder.
The idea of how Cold can kill people is interesting, though I am raised in a cold climate so I wear shorts year round.
Overall, great job.
Strange gives you...
9.8/10
Good job
Keep writing
Stay groovy, my amigo
Wow! That is... amazing! More than amazing. It's so powerful and captivating. It wasn't what I had expected... it was better. Great job!
I think this is a very powerful poem; there is obviously a significant amount of emotion behind it. It paints a very detailed picture of what seems like a very short scene.
I really like the imagery you used. There is good description and it is accompanied by equally good contrast. The image that you created is wonderfully laced with unfeeling detail. I get the feeling that the narrator is extremely focused on the scene and nothing else. I personally like the effect that you've created, it gives me the sense that this narrator is a veritable psychopath.
The portion of your descriptions that seemed a little off centered on your word choice. You repeat a few phrases/words a lot throughout the poem. "ice-cold" and "heart" are use quite a bit, and for me it was a little too much. If you could find some way to switch up the words you use, it would add variety to the piece and make it much more interesting to read.
There are also a few little grammar things that you should check out. A few verbs aren't in the right form and such.
For the most part, the way that you've structured the stanzas works really well with the content. I really like the repetition of "stained" when you say "The pale white skin, stained-/
stained with a pure scarlet color". The dash and the two "stained"s gives the sense of just a hint of regret which deepens the overall sentiments of the poem. Gives it a new depth.
"in an icy-cold hand, with a harsh mindset behind," this line I think is a little bit awkward. The second portion doesn't flow well and it seems off overall. I would say something along the lines of "the actions of a harsh mindset". The way you have it phrased now just doesn't click with the past eloquence of piece.
I want to say again that this poem is compelling. Rarely do I react as I did to this one, and I really appreciate that. Poems ought to make the reader feel, and you've done an amazing job with this piece. It could use just a few changes to make it even stronger than it already is.
Per usual, my suggestions are just that, suggestions. Don't feel at all obligated to listen to anything I have to say. It's your poem, not mine.
Good job and keep writing!
