For You

This is a poem,

That much is true.

This is a poem,

and it's all about you.

How you could smile,

on the rainiest day,

Or how you could laugh,

When the clouds are so grey.

This is a poem,

That much is true.

This is a poem,

about the wonderful you.

Hey SnazzyPencil, comrie here to review~

This put a smile on my face as soon as I started, and that smile grew as I continued to read along. This was so cute. I like the message in this poem and using "you" throughout. It makes it more personal and I feel like yes, the poet is talking to not just me, but to her, him, them ... and you get the point:) This is for anyone and everyone.

I love how simple this poem is. It also happens to be very meaningful. To someone having a bad day, this could really brighten it. So I love that you wrote this. Everyone deserves to hear they're wonderful.

Your rhyming is on point. It flowed very nicely and I don't have anything to say in terms of errors. I loved everything about this, and I'll definitely reread if I ever wanna feel good about myself!

Keep writing (and you're wonderful too)!

Hello, Snazzy!
My first impression: "Aww....This is so touching!"
Bravo. The only thing I would consider changing is the stanzas. Your first stanza is:

This is a poem,
That is much true.
This is a poem,
and it's all about you.
I'd suggest you squeeze in a space in there between that and the next stanza, just to verify that it is one stanza itself. I'd assume you get where I am going, so I'll move on.
I loved the simplicity of this poem, but I found I little error stuck in there where it shouldn't belong.
How you could smile,
on the rainiest day,
Or how you could laugh,
when the clouds are so grey.

So you wrote when the clouds "are" so grey. To have this make more sense and flow better, I think you should replace "are" with "were".
Furthermore, this poem is so sweet and cute. I'd definitely be looking forward to your stanzas being corrected, but even more to another sweet poem by you.
Keep it up,
Sunset101:)

Ello mate, xJ here for a well-deserved review,

I love the simplicity and sweet little message you put into this poem. It makes me feel a bit bubbly and happy. I would be glad to receive this poem because I know you actually put effort into it. You obviously proof read it before uploading and your punctuation, capitalization, (and so forth) is great! I applaud you, and even as simple as it is, every poem should come from the heart.

This piece is just adorable... c:
May your travels through time and space be merry,

aww how cute! I love that this can be for anyone, not so specific.
I love it overall.
A few minor suggestions:
'this is a poem, that much is true'
I get that this line is mostly for rhyming and rhythm purposes, however...it's a little obvious. And, dare I say, cliche?

In the middle of your piece on lines like 'how you could smile' and 'or how you could laugh', I think in a way it might fit better if you made these parts present tense since the rest of the writing is set in present tense. But it could work either way.

Also I don't think a comma is necessary in "this is a poem, about the wonderful you".

That's about all I have to say. Like I said, my suggestions were minor. Pay no mind to them if you want, because you're the author! :)

Thanks for sharing!

Hey SnazzyPencil,

I thought that this was really well done. I loved the way you wrote it, with just the right amount of pauses, and at the right times. I love how you made it a little informal and how you repeated the beginning in the end. i really don't have anything bad to say about this, I thought it was really cute, and really well done! I have a question though, is this about anyone in particular, or did you just feel like writing it. Anyway, Great job, and I hope that you write more like this!

happy writing,

I really like to see positive content. This poem brought a smile to my face. I found the usage of a more traditional poetic form also made the content more interesting. Everyone deserves a simple poem like this written for them!

Aw this poem just makes me smile! I love it! So much poetry is dark and cryptic but this was simple and lighthearted, yet clever. I really liked the voice in this and how it draws the reader in. Your rhyming is so playful and fun but not cheesy, I love that! Great poem, keep it up! :)

I love the way you made the words rhyme! :D This is really great, you expressed the emotion in the poem beautifully. My favorite part is,

How you could smile,

on the rainiest day,

Or how you could laugh,

When the clouds are so grey.

I love how well this flows together. :D The ending is really great as well. I like that you added 'wonderful', I think it really enhanced the whole poem.
