A parody of a Christmas song:

It's the most wonderful time of the yeeeaaaaaar!
All our essays are due
And our finals are soon
And there's abject feeeaaaaaar!
Oh! It's the most happiest times
Of the yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeear!

Geez! My community college is so... difficult. :? I mean, I did a Spanish play, wrote several essays for Spanish, and the final was a 250-500 word response to a short story -- both were written in Spanish. My chemistry class -- gosh. It was difficult. Very difficult. At one point, I got the highest score of the class for one of the exams... a 76%. My music would have been easy, except I tutored a handicapped student. The easiest class I had was my calculus class.

*cries*

I adored my finals this semester;

I was forty minutes late for my Spanish Final, and still managed to take the test and leave before anyone else in the class. I scored a 96.

I was in and out of my Health Final in less than twenty minutes--I scored a 94.

My Philosophy Final was to watch Batman Begins and write an essay relating it to the Philosophy of Religion. We did a group essay, each of us picking a chapter from Aldous Huxley's "Perennial Philosophy," and relating to the movie. We each wrote one page. We scored a 98, and that was only becuase one of our group did not know how to spell the teacher's name.

I love Community College.

Since my school starts close to Labor Day, our second nine weeks doesn't end until two weeks after Christmas. Meaning... you guessed it... my finals are the week after we come back from Christmas.

My Rhetoric midterm this year is going to be a paper/essay thingy... going to have a MASSIVELY HUGE AND ENORMOUS Omnibus test involving identify/describe, short answer and multiple essays... an Algebra II midterm *fear* and a Latin one... good Lord...

I think I'll start singing your song at school, Snoink.

My Theology mid-term/final/whatever is going to kill me. Just so much stuff to...*shudder*...memorize.

As for finals, i.e. the tests right before summer, if I keep my averages above 93, then I can be exempt from most tests! Woot!

(At my school, 93+ is an A. If you have an A average for a subject for the entire year, you don't have to take the final.)

(I heard that my school is considering getting rid of mid-terms and finals altogether due to people passing all year until they take the tests, then they fail the big test, and they have to take a class all over again.)

At the rate I'm going, I can be exempt from everything except Algebra II. (That darn math. Why does it have to be so hard and fun at the same time?)

Anyway, yeah, Snoink. I know how you feel. The only threatening Mid-Term to me right now is the Systematic Theology one. That one's gonna be scary... That Alg II test might become a threat soon enough though. Then, of course, there's the ancient literature from English now...

Oh crap...It's coming...MID-TERM FEVER! AAAAH!

*ahem*

I'm also not sure why but even though I normally wear cool tones I have a feeling red would have been my color in the 1860s.
