The Path

***A quick write, feel free to tear it apart.

I walk the road, nowhere to go,
Simply happy and on my way;
For where I'll be
In history
Is not for me to say.
But I suppose my footsteps on
This path I choose to take
Won't wash away
In the fray
Of life's ongoing wake.
So I walk much slower than
The others on this road.
My steps are wary,
But my heart will carry
Me far beyond where others will ever go.

I really liked reading this poem. The title was really fitting, and the whole thing was really flowing together like a miniature story. I found no issues with it except for one:

StoryWeaver13 wrote:Me far beyond where others will ever go.

I didn't see any errors in it, but I just didn't understand it. If you, or anyone else who feels like it, could explain this line, I would be grateful.
Thanks!
Aside from that, it was awesome and I enjoyed reading it!

You're given the form, but you have to write the sonnet yourself. What you say is completely up to you.
