Always a Brother

Spoiler! :
A poem about my autistic little brother, who I fail to understand but will never stop trying to relate to.

Dear brother,
I don't tell you enough what you need to know.
I judge you like the rest, by your cover.
Sometimes I look no further because
It scares me a little, the words I cannot read.
But beyond this strange image you portray
I see a spirit unpredictable,
A person of a thousand weathers, wild like
The churning sea, peaceful below
But no one seems to understand that -
Honestly, not even me.
But fair-weather or not you cannot doubt
You're always a brother, my brother,
My undeniable friend.
Little brother I promise you
Not to doubt you like the rest, for you are brighter
Than a lighthouse that guides a thousand ships.
Decoding what you mean to say past
What our judgemental ears will hear
And bracing for whatever storms loom towards us,
Denying ourselves of this strange fear.

Lol jk.
But this is verrry deep.
I think it's awesome.
It shows how much you care and love him no matter what his disabilty is!
And that my friend makes you a good person.

Aw, I really like this! I only spotted a few things that I would change.

I see a spirit unpredictable,

In this line, a would put either "I see a spirit, unpredictable," or "I see an unpredictable spirit,".

Little brother, I promise you
Not to doubt you like the rest, for you are brighter
Than a lighthouse that guides a thousand ships.

The second line in red I think would sound better if you put "I won't doubt you".

I love the ending and the whole poem is wonderful.
Great work!
