E - Everyone

In poetry

Normally we whisper

secrets in the dark;

Tonight all was quiet.

I find this poem very thought stimulating despite it's shortness (not saying that it's short length is bad). I had to read it several times and really think on it because it seems that there could be a larger story behind it. I really like poems like this that are profound while using only a small amount of words.

Love this. Absolutely love it. I really enjoy poems that have alternate meanings and stories behind them because it makes it more interesting. There's nothing to critique at all. This was great.

Wow, short but truly amazing! Secrets are truly amazing and awesome to share, aren't they? Secrets really add spice to the most average life, but without them your life can be as still and as quiet as a dark, black night in which you drown in silence. Amazing job, love this! <3

Hey there fellow writer! I love this short poem! It's very short, but it gets the point across very efficiently! I would just say that perhaps you could take out the "but" and just write: "Normally we whisper secrets in the dark; Tonight all was quiet." The reason I say this is because It seems to put the point across stronger! Otherwise this poem is splendid! :) Keep up the good work!

Regret has a flavor and it tastes like the espresso I consumed at 9pm.
