SHE DID IT AGAIN!!!! WOOOOOOHHOOOO!!! SO FREAKING COOL!!!!!
I really liked finding out more
by the way, really creative chapter with all the races' magic and strengths and stuff
Review time!! I know I'm sooooooo overdue on this but I'm here again.
let me know when your sick and tired of meThis chapter is so well written I had to skim over it again to find criticism. That's rare. I normally have an complaint
sorryXDI'm kinda confused about Artemis cutting Billie and also the little run in with Sedna. Maybe you just need to clarify a couple things in these "scenes", you could say.
I think it's kinda awkward that Thorin is clapping... But I like the extra bit about Carina. You have a pretty developed sub character going here. Nice!
I'm still creeped out by this magic stuff. You never answered my question about it before... Care to answer now?
Well that's all for now
just asking, what is the current wordcount of your story? Im at 22 chapters and 113k words so i was wondering how long u usually make a chapter
5000 used to be my upper limit, but now I keep it around 2-3000.
oh. I average 4700 words per chapter
Hello, Artemis, Wolf here for another review.
I'm finally here early this time! I'm catching up... To the review!
So I feel like Jae is a pretty important character, yes? So you did a good job or reiterating that he's a caster and all that (I love the stereotype about the Asians xD), but for a good chunk of this chapter, I had no idea who Jae was. I recognized his name from somewhere before, but exactly where slipped my mind. The same thing kind of happened to me last chapter, when character names were thrown in there like we should know them, but I had absolutely no idea who was who or who looked liked what, even who had any significance.
I remember you mentioning before that the Fey use life sources for magic, and if that's so, maybe that's a reason why she's struggling a little? Is she trying to open that channel between her inner magic to outside magic in the wrong way? I'm just wondering aloud here, but it's really interesting that she did magic here without trying.
The lesson on all the different ways magic is used was really interesting, and I'm glad you included that. Sometimes parts like these with just 'pure information' can kind of drag on and the reader just wants to get on with it, but I don't feel like that's the case here. You include it in a really good spot, so it's not out of the blue, and the added little side conversations also help usher it along. Great job!
I'm really excited for the next part, and I was tempted to just skip right ahead to it (the ending was really well done, what with the unintentional intentional levitation), but I don't want to get too ahead of myself. You're doing a great job, and keep it up! Keep Writing,
~Wolfare~
