Godot, I'm here.
You said meet by the tree.
It's a Saturday,
And a quarter until three.

Wait,
Did you say Saturday?
I swore you said Sa-
Or was it Sunday?

You haven't showed up,
So why bother?
I'll just come again,
Same time tomorrow.
><
Hey Godot,
Back again.
Same place and same time,
Patience is wearing thin.

Been waiting for a while,
Why haven't you come?
I can't stay here the whole time,
This isn't fun.

Still have yet to show up,
I'm leaving again.
You better be here tomorrow,
Not leaving me standing.

Hey Godot..

I think this kind of has a mysterious void-like feel to it. Like, you don't know who these people are-- BUT THAT'S OKAY!! I think it really adds to it, making the reader think, "Who is this Godot?"
I'm not sure if you have another story/poem that talks about Godot.. but for people who haven't read that(if it exists), and who read this can feel that same mystery.
I think this is a very thoughtful piece, and I really like it.
I also get the feel of loneliness from this poem, like.. Godot isn't coming, and now the feeling of rejection comes in. I really like that. Feeling betrayed, even.
I'm still new to literacy, but I really, really, REALLY like this!

Nice poem, Dr Strangelove. I read Beckett. I know perfectly well what you're talking about.

I like your work. It's fun but I don't understand who Godot is or who this person is.I'm not even sure who the narrator is or what exactly is going on.. I like the suspense though and the way you write.
It's good work. Keep it up. "still have yet to show up" I think should be "you are still yet to show up" or "having yet to show up" or whatever. That line is a bit confusing.
I like it though.

Hi there,
Although I know less about what 'Godot' is, but it is still interesting to read.

No one knows who or what Godot actually is, and no one will ever know.
(Excerpt from play)
ESTRAGON: Let's go.
VLADIMIR: We can't.
ESTRAGON: Why not?
VLADIMIR: We're waiting for Godot.
~C.p from Urban dic.

Been waiting for a while,
Why haven't you come?
I can't stay here the whole time,
This isn't fun.

This is my favorite part, but the last line distract me for a while.
I love the originality, but why not giving this Godot a bit variety on his/her character. I meant make your own version for Godot ;) . Anyway, this is just in my opinion.
Keep it up! :)
