i got a novel for ya, and want it up to a publishable standard. historical fiction, 80,000-ish words so far. should be fun for you. how would you like me to share it?

(Outside of YWS becomes beta-reading territory, and I actually already do beta reads & critiques separate to YWS and a few other sites so need to keep it all paced and balanced out, so not doing any off-site critiquing from YWS if that makes sense)

Hey, I'm writing a novel, I finished the first draft and have posted the entire thing, but I need more feedback so I can continue to improve the story and find the biggest errors. It is currently somewhere around 25,000 words. I want every little bit of feedback so please feel free to bring out the evil editor so:

I hope to publish someday and I want you to treat this story as if it were about to go out on submission. I will not be upset if you tell me to rewrite everything about it.

Also one question, I did see that you won't re-read things once edited, but I am planning on writing some additional chapters, that I just didn't for the first draft. Once I wrote these would you be willing to read/review them?

Sounds like a plan! And yeah, new chapters is fine--they're new, after all! Not like I'm reading them a second time around. Did you want to post those chapters before I delve in?

Ok! I'm done with some of those. Did all of TheSwordsman's shorts, Jyva's excerpt, and writerkitty's first chapter. Still have to do Beginnings, but I want to delve into it thoroughly so I might get everything else out of the way first.
