I think love is like a leaf.
You cannot ask it to fall for you.
You cannot pull it from its branch,
and you cannot tell the wind
where to carry it.
The only thing you can do
is to stand beneath the tree and look up.
Maybe one day, it will drift gently into your hands.
Maybe it won't.
But that doesn't make it any less beautiful.
Sometimes, loving someone means admiring them from afar,
the way you admire a leaf dancing with the wind.
You smile when you wait—
not because you expect it to fall,
but because watching it exist
is already something precious.
To me, even if it doesn't,
I will still look up and think,
"WHAT A LOVELY LEAF."

This is beautiful, I teared up a little while reading it. I love how it portrays love as the need for patience and not as something that can be had and tossed away like a paper plate. Real love isn't like that. So here is my honest review of this
I think this bit is good, although 'and you cannot tell the wind where to carry it' seems better than having it split but having it split does help with the length of the poem. So with that, I think you're still good.
And as someone still waiting for that metaphorical leaf, I love this, because I know what it feels like, waiting, and I believe finding that love is a special thing.
This hurts, but its true, thank you for including this because the truth may hurt, but its still there, even if we choose to ignore it.
YES YES YESSSS love this bit, great job over all, this is very good!
Over all I would like to say you did a very good job and that this is a great poem, I appreciate the work and effort into this and your other works as well. Thank you again and great job!

Thanks a lot dude!
Of course! loved reading it thank you for the opportunity!
great job, loved this, will be reviewing it in a sec!
I love the energy of this poem 🤣
The idea and concept of love being a leaf is a GENIUS idea!
This part is just so real and greatly portrays the idea of love, aswell as this part in the poem
Just such a good way to describe it, like you cant force a leaf at the top of a tree to fall down because you want it, same way as you cant make someone fall in love with you. (IDK IF THIS IS CALLED AN IMPLIED METAPHORE BUT HOLY COW)
Also this was by far my favorite part XD. The usage of all caps just really pulled everything together... by giving me a good laugh.
Good job! keep up the good work!
