The days ends , but somehow you don't . You stay in the songs that play a little too late at night, in the quiet space between my thoughts, and in every wish I never say aloud. Sometimes I wonder if the moon remembers your face too, because whenever it appears, it brings you back to me. Not all at once, but softly—like rain returning to a window it has visited a hundred times before. Even when the seasons change, a part of me remain there - on that first night under the gentle rain, seeing you for the very first time. Maybe that's why you never really leave. No matter how far you are, you are still with me.

we meet yet again dear friend. so why not get right into it hm?
I LOVVEE this line. it's amazing to start off on and hook the reader in. great job!
I quite enjoy how all of your poems incorporate the moon in comparison to a person or thought.
If I were to venture a guess I would infer that this poem is either about a breakup or the death of a loved one, it's got a lot of emotion in it.
overall, amazing poem.

Yet another beautiful piece of poetry from moon1! Amazing work! If I could muster a guess, this one is about a breakup. Or perhaps trying to get over someone.
I feel this in my bones. There was this boy who shattered my heart last year, and I want to hate him so bad for what he did, but when I see him, I want to make him regret letting me go. He's still everywhere I go. I see him when it snows, and when it rains. I can't enjoy Wendy's anymore because he works there. I see him downtown and when I eat pizza from the place we went together. Never again will I enjoy the candy store without thinking of him or ride my skateboard without thinking of him.
It's nice to know im not the only one this happens to.
