if you were the moon,
i would be the one
who stares at you all night,
never letting the clouds cover you.
i would be the one
who misses you in the morning sky.
i would be the one who cries with you,
smiles with you,
and laughs with you.
i would never let the stars
look at you.
i would be the one who dreams of the day where I could fly to you
and hold you as mine...
yet, i would be just happy
for having the chance to look at you,
and admire you
from far away.

I LOVE these types of poems where anyone puts personification to anything and just makes it beautiful. This piece is a perfect example!
I specifically love the line 'I would never let the stars look at you." and "I would be the one who misses you in the morning sky"
Also may I add the great structure you put into this and the perfectttt lead up 👌
Thank you for your review. Check my other peoms
Aww, this one is so sweet 🥹🌙 I love how the speaker doesn't need to be loved back, just being the one who watches the moon all night is enough. "Never letting the clouds cover you" and "I would never let the stars look at you" are such cute, protective lines 😭 And that ending, being happy just to admire from far away, hits right in the feels 💛 Really lovely work!
Thank you so much rithika, by the way i like your name! And check my other peoms too
