Just like yesterday.
I’m alive and breathing
just like yesterday.
What is with this repetition,
am I damned to live this way?
Congratulations on your achievement,
everything I used to live for
you’ve successfully taken away.
This is just another part of our endless war,
tell me dear angel, what am I fighting for.
The ground around the gates down here,
is permanently stained red.
With more than just the damned.
Please, just fly back to your so called perfect gates.
We know the truth behind them.
God thought Satan to be beautiful,
until an hour before he fell.
At least he got to make his home here in Hell.
For you there will be no shelter,
when a sudden twist of fate leaves you alone
and falling out of grace.
That day won’t be just like yesterday,
you see.
The gates of hell will fail to hold fast,
against the demons you've suppressed.
So trust me when I tell you,
that day will be your last.

Hello again Collidaescope!
Such a potent line! It really sums up the rest of the poem, gives it a wonderful ending.Wow, this is... This is in need of words to describe it! Fenominal! I especially like the last lines:
However, I did find one error:
You just need a question mark after that so it really is a question.
Other than that, as good as ever!

I really like the verse that says "God thought Satan to be beautiful, until an hour before he fell.", it really brings out the sort of darkness in the poem. I really appreciate that this poem is different from a lot of what you read today, it's has a twist with the angel it seems to be written towards, usually people only see angels as bad, but you wrote about a bad angel, and that's really cool. I did have to read some of the lines a few times in a row because it feels like you're trying to have some rhythm in it, but I just don't feel it one 100%, it made it a little uncomfortable to read. Overall it's a really good poem, and it's very unique.
I honestly love Supernatural, and it's an addiction, as you can see from my profile, but to be frank, I found this deep and of course, Lucifer was God's favorite before he fell, and he fell because he loved his father so much. It makes it seem that there isn't much to fight for, holding on too much. And as it said in the show, not everything is about revenge, but for God's sake, it best be there.
I actually love this poem. Not only is it beautifully written, but it also has a beautiful meaning and understanding. I also love the subtle rhyme scheme and the vocabulary you cleverly decided on. Be careful with what you're trying to say in some places, but other than that, really great job. I truly enjoyed it and have nothing else to say. Keep writing!
Really loved this poem! A lot of poetry is about real life and people's feelings, which don't get me wrong I like, but the Heaven/Hell twist was a fun one.

I really, really love how the character is basically cursing out this angel. Like 'You think you're so high and mighty? Yet you wreck everything I've done.'
Favorite line: "God though Satan to be beautiful,/until an hour before he fell." Ironically enough, this is the only line I see with any problems. I think you meant thought instead of though.
All in all, I really loved it

I like the variety of words you used! The way you write is very bold, and it really brought me into the story you were telling. I made me feel several different emotions. I don't watch Supernatural but I could understand what you were trying to say. Also, what type of poetry did you use for this. Was it free verse. I would like to try writing some myself very soon. Good work!
Thanks for the review! Honestly, I'm not sure what I used poetry just comes naturally to me so all I really do is write it down.
