Don’t Bother.

Don’t bother looking for me

I found my way down under.

I’ve just gotten so sick

of you pointing out my blunders.

Don't bother praying for me to come back.

Unless you want to waste your final breath.

You see,

Everyone in the down under

is waiting for a savior

followed by a crimson trail.

So go ahead, damn me to hell

Im not trying to save my soul.

Call me what you will.

Because when it comes down to it

you aren't worth a dollar bill.

Don't bother wasting your breath.

I'm done trying to explain myself.

Firepower takes a couple quick glances around, then creeps over and drops an envelope before driving hastily away. The envelope contains a letter which reads:

Interesting ideas you have going on in this poem! The concept of 'down under' is pretty intriguing, although I won't pretend I understand it that well.

The first 'bother' is capitalized, even though it shouldn't be. However, I suspect this was a style choice on your part.

The rhyming is a little wonky, because you have a couple sets of very nice rhymes (under/blunders) (will/bill) and these give parts of the poem rhythm, but not all of it. Because of this, it feels a little half-finished.

Wow. it is a wonderful creation.

It's really strong writing. but perhaps, I'm bit confused whether it is indicated to some person. Well, I'm not criticizing.

I don't read poetry very often.

The lines I've loved most are, Oh no!

no specifications. I have loved it all.

All i want to say, Keep it up!

Good day! :)

You strike again! I absolutely love it! I love this line;

"Everyone in the down under

is waiting for a savior

followed by a crimson trail."

Very nice! I feel like you wrote this poem about someone I know, it's so relatable. You have a gift...

thank you :) something tells me you will like tomorrows poem more however

I'm happy to hear that :)

I say Wolf, for all wolves are not of the same sort; there is one kind with an amenable disposition – neither noisy, nor hateful, nor angry, but tame, obliging and gentle, following the young maids in the streets, even into their homes. Alas! Who does not know that these gentle wolves are of all such creatures the most dangerous!
