Christmas Villains
This Christmas season,
the air is thick with holiday cheer.
It's quickly becoming crystal clear,
that I have no place here.
The Christmas lights that shine so bright are the only things allowing me to see,
the path that is in front of me, and why I should walk it's trail.
Forget the Grinch who stole Christmas,
and the Krumpus straight from hell.
To me you're the villain this holiday season,
an Angel who never let me save myself.
Leaving me to die instead,
and gather dust, like the long since forgotten
nutcracker on the shelf.
So if you ask me what I want this year,
delivered in a box.
The one thing I want most this year,
is simply for you not to be here.
Maybe even an apology, that isn't insincere.
So I can finally relax, and enjoy this holiday cheer.

Loved this. This is beyond amazing. Great job. I have no criticism. This poem makes me more excited for Christmas. I could not wait any longer. The ending of your poem was also great and well ended. It is just fabulously great. You should keep writing holiday poetry like this. This poem is just right on spot. The grammars and punctuations were used correctly. Everything is perfect. Great job. Keep up the great work and keep being awesome!
This is a unique way to like about Christmas, I enjoy it very much! Good job!
I like- well I like how you tried to make this have a rhyme to it. It mostly has a rhyme, but there are some parts that defiantly do not rhyme, and it's confusing.
"...the path that is in front of me, and why I should walk it's trail." this part really doesn't sound appealing with whats before it, it ruins the rhyme. There are parts that feel out of place such as, "Leaving me to die instead,
and gather dust, like the long since forgotten
nutcracker on the shelf.", that sounds kind of like a rhyme, but there's something that just makes it feel out of place, it's probably "..like the long since forgotten..." that part of the line sounds weird.
Other than that everything looks good! Just the rhyming is off! Keep up the good work!
