Crucify Me.
Crucify me upside down,
glue on my Crown of Thorns.
Burn down the forgotten hospital room,
in which I was born.
It's clear you think it to be odd
that no one reported a child born,
with Satan's horns upon her head.
If only I could make you see
this isn't about the demons inside of me,
but rather the devil I was born to be.
Won't you please stop trying
to make a saint out of me.
In all honesty
even tho you'll never see,
the silver cross I had to hold,
left a scar on me.
The holy songs you all seem to sing,
are driving me insane.
Nothing that I say or do,
will ever be good enough for you,
as long as I hold a crimson fallen angel
in higher favor then I hold you.
Nothing that you say or do,
will make me want to be like you.
Crucify me on your cross,
And turn it upside down.
Glue on your crown of thorns,
I would hate to be the reason
it finally touched the ground.

Collideascope,

Okay here we go.
I'm not a religious person but this sounds as though this was written to be associated with biblical topics. Such as,
"Glue on your crown of thorns"
"Crucify me on your cross"
"the silver cross I had to hold,
left a scar on me"
"but rather the devil I was born to be"
Am I correct to assume that thats the topic at hand. If not then that's what I got out of the wording of the poem.
One thing caught my eye in a negative way in this poem. In line 15 or 14 ( depending on whether or not that's the title or just the first line of the poem) you put "tho" instead of "though". I don't know if that was intentional for the symbolism of the poem or not but I don't think it fit that well into the serious type of topic this is.
Besides that one word I thought this was amazingly done.
Keep up the great work!!
Heyy!!
So, Collideascope! How you been?
Anyway, here to review! Well, I've actually read this about two or three times.
I have no bad things to say! Only that if it had not meant to rhyme, you got your point across!
Your work is so awesome!
So, I love the beginning and the title! It was what brought me in!!
I kept reading because it is so great and I knew you and your writing would never disappoint me!! So, I am very glad I did, too! I also love the ending! It brought everything together! I especially like the dark and sinister feel it has! Just like mine!! [Sort of....]
Anyway,
Happy to review!!

Hello again Collideascope here to give another review!

I really liked this poem for a couple reasons.
Reason one: it has a very dark and also very (pardon my fandom talk)
Supernatural feel to it of you know what I mean.
Reason two: this piece is just plain awesome I don't care if someone else doesn't like it. I think that this is a great piece and you did a great job writing it.
Reason three: the way you formatted this makes it look very professional and I like that you took the time to do that.
I guess that all I really have to say keep writing and have a great day!
